Cell phone pictures bother me more. Perhaps that is because I enjoy portrait photography and can see all that is done horribly wrong with most selfies even without the use of editing.

I think a good photo is better. Just take it with a grain of salt as editing adds that bit extra.

You are correct, a good picture is important; and I think many of us really do laugh when we see the selfie picture in a public restroom being used in an advert, OR, my personal favorite: the 'selfie' in front of a dirty mirror, with a filthy room in the background. I think we agree that gets our juices flowing! (Big Grin).

BUT, it isn't JUST about the photo, because I have met some beautiful girls, and as soon as they opened their mouth to say anything, it was clear how UGLY they really are inside.

Myself, I would much rather spend time with a girl who is sweet, kind, & tries to be a little caring while we are together, but maybe isn't a total "10" . VERSUS that hot chick who is only into herself and cannot put a coherent sentence together to save her life. I don't care if it is only 1 hour, I would like to enjoy the time, and hopefully repeat often, and look forward to it.

Just my opinion. And remember: "Beauty is only skin deep. But UGLY goes clear to the bone. ".

{P.S.: & Ashley, I know it goes for the guys too, we all need to try to be a bit more "sweet, kind, & caring" . And less crude, crass, & ugly when approaching the ladies. }.
