Why does it seem like the girls that hang out at the gas station on South Main always keep a guy around, from my perspective it seems like it would detour mongers from picking them up or at least it does by me and I understand they want to keep eye.

I'm pretty sure the guys that hang with those particular girls are just their boyfriends / get high buddies. I know one of them, the younger one, and I know for a fact that the dude she keeps around is her boyfriend. He usually hangs out at the picnic table by the food truck while she sits, stands or walks across the street. I've never had an issue with this one specifically. Just seems to be a couple who's living life on their own terms. She's super cool. I've actually seen her a few times recently. Great bbj.

As for girls standing, or walking, directly with dudes instead of at a distance, that shit is definitely a no go for me most of the time. They do that in Charlotte a lot too and it's annoying as fuck. It's just difficult to tell who's who unless you bite the bullet the first time and find out for yourself.

So I've asked a girl one time she said he "won't stop following Her" or "hes watching out for me" but I think it's also a bit lonely for this group of people, they need to talk to people and don't have phones so they all just hang out together all the time. And I've told them. I don't pick up girls who have guys around them. PERIOD even if they are the best I won't and they seem to get that after a few times. Or especially when they yell after you!

Do you disagree? Do you really feel that these "pimps" are running a successful, profitable operation? In any of these local towns? Would you even call them pimps? I've seen some activity in Greensboro and Charlotte that seems somewhat organized, but aside from that it's just two bit thugs trying to essentially steal someone else's earnings through violence and intimidation to support their own drug habit or living situation.

A girl is basically your livelihood in this business, but a girl is also a living breathing, complicated being. When you're angry, do you slash the tires on your vehicle in the morning? No. How would you get to work? Misdirected anger and abuse is counterproductive. Kick a dog simply because it's in your way enough times, you'll just have a confused violent mess on your hands. Punishment is only an effective tool when it's paired with direction and ultimately reward.

I know we're talking about girls who are so far down on their luck, that they may not be capable of consistent productivity, but it is possible to stay somewhat lucid, and healthy through active addiction. Somewhat. Crack addicts typically don't make good long term ho's, heroin addicts typically do. These girls are people. These dealers use these girls to make their living. One time a girl told me not to be worried about the dealers, why? Because the dealers know not to rob rich cars driving through their neighborhood and the reason is because they know that those cars are either 1 buying drugs from them 2 picking up girls, that in turn give them the money we give to them. And 3 that car could be rolling through and any of those things could bring the heat on them. An example from high point. I drove around one time looking for blonde Ashley and couldn't find her. Knocked on a door I saw her at before, they told me they had not seen her. But to check other places she has been known to hang out. They then asked if I wanted to see another white girl and brought her out. She wasn't what I wanted so I left but they tried to see if I wanted any other girl they had. I have heard of these small town dealers who have had multiple drug addictions becoming crazy towards the girl and beating them daily and the girls come back because they deal to them and they are one of a few dealers they know and trust.

Found Michelle looking slightly inconspicuous on S Main. I've stopped to talk to her before and she told me she was just out for a walk. Today was a little different. Wonderful bbj and great attitude. Really cool, laid back girl. She never even mentioned money, and was grateful to take it from the cup holder once I placed it there after a job well done. She was super clean and it's almost believable that she was just out for some air. If I hadn't seen her "walking" all over the damn place a different day, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think she's just a normal girl out for a walk.
