But what is a girl to do when they are hurt by a post like his? Not reply and let it die is one option, but I am sure it hurt her pride and she was mad enough to post what she did.

So far it seems that the vote of popular opinion is on her side, so I guess she is winning.

Her take on the whole situation is quite reasonable and I don't blame her a bit for not going, it's all funny business. What rubbed me the wrong way were the thinly veiled threats about knowing his name and address and so forth. It makes her seem petty and frankly dangerous. Make one wrong move and she'll out you. I'm not taking that kind of chance.

I agree with TMeiser about this. I sometimes travel for my business as well, and I surely would not drive that far without a partial payment up front to at least cover my travel time and expenses, loss of work time would also have to be a part of the consideration. There is no doubt that communication or lack thereof was a big factor here between the two of them, but bottom line is there would have to be some serious understanding and deposit accounted for. Jesse has done an outcall visit to me, I think I was only 15-20 minute drive for her, and we arranged travel funds as part of our agreement. She arrived on time and I enjoyed her services, so I have some idea as to the 'kind of lady' that she is and the integrity of her word. It also appears from his posts that RaiderKid is a trusted senior with a lot of reviews. The upside to this episode is that no one is out anything except time communicating and hurt feelings, with lessons learned (hopefully on both sides). BTW TMeister, it's not brain science either, LOL.

What kind of monger expects a woman to drive 4+ hours to see him even though they never met before and she has no idea if he has any money? I've had trouble getting girls to drive 20 minutes for an appointment, even with my stellar senior rep on here. If I were you, I wouldn't even step foot out of my house unless he could provide names of a dozen 5-star providers who can vouch that he's good for the money, and even then I'd want notarized statements to that effect.

Jesse is 100% correct in this situation. If she didn't get $500 sent to her Paypal or Venmo account beforehand to cover the Uber roundtrip to Akron, then it's a NO-GO operation until the funds arrive. Simple as that. This ain't rocket surgery, folks.

You would have t be crazy to go that far, this guy is obviously playing you. If I were in your shoes, I'd stay local, it's not that hard to figure out.

The guy has 200 reports and he is just singling you out? Why is he making a report about something that was clearly a non starter? This was likely both your fault because even considering taking a 9 hr $500 uber is a poor choice and you kept talking even after he asked for something you apparently don't offer yet the convo went on long enough that he felt he was ghosted and you felt the need to reply.

Just a few things for you and other providers to consider:

1) Our time, getting off and medication for some is as valuable as the cash you claim to lose. That is why we are willing to pay it.

2) The providers overbooking and taking the highest available offer is the reason for having a backup plan. No monger that is serious wants to meet with their second choice over their first and if they weren't serious why would they waste their time with a backup? That's not an excuse for you. Yeah we are out time but see point #1.

3) If a monger wants a face pic, do not say "you send one first". It immediately puts us on edge. No one is arresting you for a photo. You are trying to earn our business. Not the other way around. You are unknown to us and there are far more scams or dishonest listings trying to blackmail mongers than LEO trying to bust you. LEO don't care about your face. They want you in person soliciting. At the very least, say you don't do it at all and live with the possibility that the monger goes away or get a Snapchat where you can make sure text is being deleted and pics go away. The monger is in the hobby maybe a few times a month. You choose to be in it daily or much more frequently based on your claim of lost business due to travel.

I never "ghosted him". I replied to him, but when I asked him to call he never did. If you read my ads I always want a phone call confirming our appointment. In this case I wanted to talk at length about expectations. I did not give him a rate, HE told ME "2 hours for $1200. " Then he had the balls to want BBFS. I don't do that with anyone for 10 times that money. Also in order for me to accept any appointment that is 4+ hours away I would want to get a deposit. I have guys cancel and no show me in my own town, why would I go 9 hours round trip and not have some solid money? My biggest regret is that I didn't block him as soon as he requested, or I should say, demanded, BBFS. This reply would have been a lot shorter because I could have just posted, "He requested BBFS so I blocked him."

He did not save a "good amount of money" because after texting with him I became suspicious of whether he was real or not. You only "save" money when you truly intended to spend the money. I feel that I saved a ton of aggravation and wasted time for no money by not going forward with the appointment. I was not persistent with my texts, but he was.

After looking up his address on Google Maps and saw his house I knew deep in my soul that he was just a time waster and would try to screw me by not paying me.

If you are someone who I have seen and you don't believe my side of the story without evidence, send me an email and I will send the transcript. I will of course redact his address, though I am thinking about downloading the Google Maps pic of the place. You can be the judge if someone who lives in a house like his would really pay the amount of money it would take for me to make that trip.

I have been back on the board about six months. I had taken a three year hiatus from the hobby for personal reasons. In those three years this business that we call "The Hobby" has changed dramatically for the worse. In the old days men would actually show up for their appointments. Now I generally don't get my room until I have had that one hour prior phone conversation. There have been numerous times in the last six months that I had the confirming phone call only to be cancelled on just before the appointed time or worse I get NCNS. I realize that life does get in the way. Hobbyists complain when something comes up and the provider has to cancel, but these cancellations have become so common I begin to question whether the hobbyist really wasn't just playing games.

I am sure that this reply will get some posts about me having "GPS" but I feel that my attitude about NCNS and cancellations is because I respect my time, my efforts to be your fantasy date and how much I do to make you happy. Men complain when NCNS and ghosting causes them to not get there "stress relieved" but what are they out? Just their time. When a appointment cancels or NCNS a provider it is probably costing her hard cash and if we complain or out those that cancel or NCNS on us we are lambasted. I often am astonished when a hobbyist brags that he had his "backup plan" then he will ***** when a provider has her "backup plan" that leads to a double booking.

For me the Lack of Respect for each other is the root cause for instances like this. If we would try to be empathetic to the other party, much of the drama would be avoided.

I love that I have been able to reconnect with some old friends after my return and I am grateful that I have made some new ones too. I just hope that RaiderKid24's post about me can be seen as what it is, a little man's crying about not getting his way.
