There were five times as many registered Republicans who voted for Mighty Joe Biden in 2020 compared to how many of them voted for Clinton in 1992 or Obama in 2008.

Only an idiot would argue that Stuart Stevens wasn't a committed Republican. And Steve Schmidt is now a Democrat? Personally, I think that was a little overboard. Being an independent is good enough, but suppose he wants to make the MAGAs pay for what they did to his party. He'd need to be registered as a Democrat to really do that.

Finally, without groups like the Lincoln project and Republican Veterans Against Trump, he might have won re-election. Actually, if that fucking retard had actually shown a miniscule amount of leadership or empathy regarding the pandemic, he might have won. People split their votes. That's how much they wanted him gone.
