Just a clarification for some of the readers that either don't bother to read the post or can't quite comprend what is written in them.

There are no list makers. The request was sent out to everyone on the board to contribute to the formation of two needed list, guide, rules, whatever name you wish to attach to them.

So whether you have been in the hobby for 20 months or 20 years your opinion matters and your input is not only welcome but needed because no one is going to do it for us we need to contribute, unfortunately that even includes those that childishly use name calling to try and belittle what they don't understand. They too are members.

These lists are not an attempt to change or circumvent the way you currently Hobby. They are to help new members avoid the need to recreate the wheel over and over again and to provide a point of reference for everyone to use if they so choose.

So everyone, please send Jry Wild1 your serious input, he is just going to compile the information in a list format and then post it for everyone's reviews, comments and critical comments.

It's the communities list not any one persons.

I agree, its really not that hard to find an escort. Seems like some of the "know it alls" from the escort section want to prove they know it all. I have talked with one of the so called list makers and he told me he has only been doing this for a couple years. So what gives him the right to make a set of rules? Likewise just because someone has over 300 posts does not mean they know much either. But that is just my opinion.

We are just trying to help those without the experience of seasoned members such as you eliminate the need to recreate the wheel.

First off, calling them "rules" gives off a certain connotation when in actuality they are mere "tips". When I first started mongering, I wasn't a member of the forum and had no rules or tips to follow. Years later after finding this board, and reading the 22 rules, it occurred to me that the things I had learned in the streets were indeed the exact things mentioned in the rules. Now there are slight variances in everyone's habits and procedures as well. They are a good set of tips for avoiding LE and potentially dangerous situations for beginners and novices. As time goes on and technology and LE grows close to Big Brother status, the rules could eventually need some tweaking.

I'm sure Escort rules could easily be created, although a lot of thought would have to be put into it. You see, for a SW sting, LE women do not get into your car for a ride without someone closely following. You could possibly apply that same theory to Escorts as well. If you meet at a neutral spot without previously mentioning money and go to an undisclosed area for the fun in one car without being followed, then you might be able to come out clean as a whistle. There are probably other ways of doing this, but I HAVE used that method in the past. I'll have to say that the thought of meeting an Escort is a lot scarier than picking up a SW. With a SW, it sounds like just friendly chit-chat and meeting someone. Might even ask her to do some "nude modeling" which is totally legal BTW.

The Street Mongers are very proud, as they should be, of their 22 rules. They live by these rules to insure their safety and productivity. I don't know that they will appreciate being called retards because they use a set of rules to monger by. Everyone needs to use whatever tools available to them to protect themselves, that doesn't make them a retard.

Now that you are back:

As you can see, they are not "Rules" So much as guidelines to keep you safe. I only chose "Rules" for the name of my thread for the Escorts version to be in line with the "22 Rules for Street Mongering". You will note that I chose "A Guide for being a Respected Member of USASG" for my other thread. Although Ky Guy 123 makes some very good points about why they should be called "Rules" instead of "Guidelines" in his post below.

Seriously, they are not rules. You can do what you want. You can take your chances. But, as I'm sure ALL of the SW guys will tell you,"Read the 22 Rules, Follow the 22 Rules, you won't get busted if you follow them, and you should have a good time". I'm sure you already do most of the things that will be in the "Rules" anyhow. This is for the new guys to learn from and more of a reminder for the old guys.

And to be frank about it. Everything has rules. Whether they are written down or not.

Since I ranted in the Escorts Reports thread this morning, I thought I had better post a clarification about what I am trying to do here on the Board. Since, I'm sure some of you probably think I have a big head and want to dominate this forum. I do not.

I am not trying to be Board Moderator (that is Jackson's job).
I am not trying to stop anyone from expressing their own thoughts and opinions - everyone should freely have that right.
I am not trying to be my brothers' keeper or "daddy" of the board, sending people to their rooms when they misbehave.

I am trying to provide good information for all to use.
I am trying to encourage everyone to be a productive and respected member of this board.
I am trying to mentor and teach any who want to learn, like others mentored and taught me.
I am trying to encourage everyone to moderate themselves instead of creating drama.

This is what we ALL should be trying to do.

I'm just as tired of the crap as most of you! I am choosing to try to reduce the crap and increase the good, diligent, informative posts by trying to guide whomever will listen back to the reason for which this board was created. I know there are Hobbyists out there who have been doing this much longer and have much more experience and wisdom than I. And frankly, I would appreciate all the help that anyone is willing to give to achieve that goal (e.g. Nkykinkyguy and a few others, refer to Nkykinkyguy's post below).

In that regard, I would also like to clarify that the "Rules for Escort Mongering" and "Guide for being a Respected Member of USASG" threads that I started are not meant for me to espouse or dictate my thoughts and beliefs on what Members and Hobbyists should do. They are not going to be some unilateral set rules created by me alone. I intend these lists to be generated by all of us, by whomever wants to contribute. It should be a collaborative effort, certainly not one person's thoughts on what you should do as a Member or Hobbyist. As I have said, there are many of you with more experience than I. All I am doing is trying to step up and take on the role of archivist.

As Nkykinkyguy posted below, there has been an "in the background" movement to foment a change on this board for the better. I just happen to be the vocal arm of that collaborative. And, you may direct any barbs and arrows my direction too, since I am the vocal one. I too, can take it (LOL).

I will repost Nkykinkyguy's fourth item for emphasis.

Fourth: If you don't like the state of the board, by all means work with others to change it. Don't leave, don't go into the background (Yes I am guilty of this also) and for God's sake don't be part of the problem be part of the solution instead of constantly bitching and gripping. Join forces and fix it. It can be done if everyone will stop being an individual and be part of the community..

Rog, we are friends and I agree with your post. That being said, this board was better than it is now at one time and I personally think with a little co-operation that we can make it even better than it was before. I have read other large boards and you are right they are worse but that doesn't mean that we can't strive to be better.

I am a fan of 'to each his own' and with that I mean, each person does have a right to be unique in how they respond to 'whatever'. I was helped when I was a newbie when I asked by PM specific questions and they for the most part were how to do something. I had never been to a strip club and asked a Dayton Senior Member about what to do and how to act. He gave me a lot of help on what to do (some worked, some did not).

I also post some of the info about the women I have visited but I don't think I give a blow by blow description. I also do mention if I would repeat or not (which should be a very good clue about whether or not I had a good time).

When I get a PM from a non-senior member, I do look at what they have posted and if they have helped, then I help them. If they have not, then I ignore the PM. I am cautious when I received a PM that asks too specific questions about what I did when I visited the young lady.

I enjoy this site and will continue to read the reviews and comments (probably skip the rants). Folks, the Cincinnati site is filled with VERY useful information and we all should be happy about that. Please review other medium to large city forums and you will appreciate what we have here both in information on the forum and with the people we can visit that have been talked about on this forum.

I will start this off by saying that while I am not the most seasoned member of this community, I am certainly not a Nubie. I have almost twenty years experience in the hobby in one form or another so I do feel I have a reasonable view of our hobby.

First: I do think we need a vehicle to moderate ourselves. I don't think it can be one individual but a small group of respected members could achieve what this community needs. Unfortunately we must face facts, not ever member here (Including Me) is a card carrying member of Mensa. If you need to Google Mensa to find out what it is, you probably will not be granted membership. Some of our members struggle to spell correctly, let alone comprehend the meaning of all the post. This is not a flame or me throwing arrows it is just a fact that is inherent in every open forum on the.

Second: I don't think anyone here is trying to inhibit anyone's privilege to speak their mind, just to try and make this particular board a worthwhile community to facilitate hobbyist in their endeavors. Don't forget if you are entitled to post what is on your mind, others have the very same freedom to post their own comments on your post so you can't have it like Burger King 'Your Way' where you get the freedom to post what you want but others are denied the very same freedom to speak their mind regarding what you posted. If you don't want your posts critiqued, unfortunately your only option here is not to post. That also is your right.

Third: I am an avid admirer of the Street Walker Hobbyist. I feel that their 22 Rules of Street Mongering are far and away the best instruction model I have seen in the hobby. As I suggested (I was the first to bring it up, so those of you that bristled at Jry Wild1 for bring up the 'Now there need to be Rules for the hobby! ' comments please direct them at me not him. I am a big boy I can take it) Escort Hobbyist need a similar set of rules in place for those that wish to use them. For those that don't wish to use them, good luck you may need it.

That being said, the Street Walker thread has it's own share of dribble (Recently nearly a half page of posts backslapping with Poondaddy / Pino so please don't throw stones, we all live in a glass house here. Luckily for the Street Walker thread there are just fewer people posting on that thread and those that do are typically more experienced than the nubies that post elsewhere as the nubies tend to play it much safer (I totally understand the whole is it really safer to see an escort verses following the 22 rules argument) so this eliminates a lot of the dribble that the other threads experience.
