I have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to this type of scenario. A police officer can ask you simple questions, like name, birthdate, hair color, where you are going / coming room, etc. If an officer asks you something that could potentially get you into trouble, they must read you your rights first. Any information gathered before your rights are given Can be inadmissible in court. Many people do not know this. If they start asking you questions about anything That could get you into trouble, answer them. Once you refuse to answer, you look guilty and they may go ahead and cuff you.

Then you know if I answer 72 mph when he asks me if I knew how fast I was going is 100% an admission of guilt and I never had to be mirandized before he asked that question. When it comes to cops, answer the questions you're legally obligated to answer, stick to 'I do not wish to discuss my day, under advice of my attorney and pursuant to my fifth amendment rights, I will not answer questions without them present', and then shut the f#ck up. Another very important statement, I do not consent to any searches or seizures. Even if you are being detained, make that statement. It will bite them in the ass 95% of the time.

You are an expert. I have had two encounters with police during fifty years practicing this delightful hobby.

First encounter:

Fifteen years ago, I parked my vehicle outside an AMP. There were two patrol cars parked in the lot. I ascended the outside stairs and knocked. The door opened. Instead of a sexy angel appearing, a young, attractive policewoman asked me, "What do you want here? I told her I came to get a Chinese foot massage. Annoyed, she asked if I had come for sexual solicitation of an employee. Was she allowed to ask this?

I did not answer her question but asked her if she had ever enjoyed Chinese foot massage. I told her the masseuses in this place were famous for their skill and that she should try. Was this a mistake on my part?

The officer appeared perplexed and did not respond. Could she have arrested and charged me at that point?

I excused myself, turned, and walked back down the stairs. Could they have arrested me for leaving?

Second encounter.

About 18 years ago, I picked up a sweet thing on a Florida highway. I drove to her spot for dates. " I don't remember my answer, but it either was explicitly negative or implied that I would never do such a thing. Was this a mistake on my part?

The officer gave us back our I'd and told me to leave. They took my companion into custody. I never heard from her or the police after this.

I was nervous about this for several months after the incident. Would it have been likely that the police would have summoned me to court?

Did the girl's alibi help her or me?

While always polite, I cannot imagine why anyone would ever answer any questions from a cop. Cops passed a civil service test, they're not detectives for a reason. Patrol cops reply 99.5% of self-incrimination, because most criminals are even less clever than a cop.

I forget their handle, but there's a couple of hilarious lawyers (Chicago? Maybe Philly accent?) that constantly give advice, and every traffic stop advice video they do is basically; after you've politely provided license and registration. Shut the fuck up. They say it like 8 times in each video, they're great.

Anywho. I'm not one to tell anybody else what to do, I don't pretend to know what's best for other people. But a big smile and "I don't answer questions" is the end of my cop convos.

The service battles between these FS shops provide interesting reads. I have ventured to Louisville and Indianapolis over the years to experience some really good times and actually have one more trip I just have to make after reading the experience but we definitely have it good right now right here. I was there on Saturday morning getting a massage from Nana as I was passing throw. A guy comes, interrupted the massage. Nana puts him in a room and comes back to tell me she will be back soon. That she would take care of me afterwards. She was gone for about 19-12 min. Heard the guy leave and Nana came back into the room. I made the hand up & down jester at her and she smiled. Went back to massage. This is the second time this has happened while in Troy. (by Taca Bell).

I agree with the "Shut the fuck up" advice. However, I have deviated from this path.

I ascended the outside stairs and knocked on the AMP door. The door opened. Instead of a sensuous angel, a young attractive police woman asked me "What do you want here? I told her I came to get a Chinese foot massage. She seemed annoyed. She asked if I had come for sexual solicitation of an employee. I acted slightly annoyed and asked her if she had ever enjoyed Chinese foot massage. I told her the masseuses in this place were famous for their skill and that she should try. By then, the door was completely open, and I could see the young sweetheart from my last visit was standing quietly with a slight smile on her face. The officer did not know how to respond. I calculated that I shoud not push my luck and excused myself and turned and walked back down the stairs. I have no idea what happened after that, but I never heard from the Whittier Police. I do not recommend this kind of approach but it worked once. Perhaps, the defendant used it in her defense.
