Since a lot of the Pinellas clubs (oasis, 24 karat, Diamond Dolls) are shut down not doing the juice bar bit, I through I would try Desire. Sign on door says they are shut down today. Not good.

The PCR test technology is very specific. If it is positive you have been infected by the virus recently.

But it does not tell you:

Whether you are infectious.

When you were infected.

Allure has become a "Juice Bar" since it cannot sell alcohol for a while. Management figured girls need to work and they can at least make some money on dances and $6 glasses of tea or "virgin" Margaritas. Virgin would be a novelty there.

Problem is, when guys heard no liquor they assumed the bar would shut down, so they stopped coming in, and so the dancers did too. But not all of them.

I stopped in Monday afternoon and there were 3 or 4 dancer and about the same number of customers. Saw some old friends and had some new fun, so there is still life in the times of Covid.

"Supposed" raise? I'm as sorry for the renewed closures of the strip clubs as anyone else, but the meteoric rise in Covid cases in FL currently surpasses even NY and Italy at their peaks. I also read that at least a couple of dancers (the one at Desire and another one at OZ in Pinellas) tested positive for it. So this is not a just a hoax.

These times are a better time to simply meet with our regulars privately outside the clubs (assuming you've been collecting numbers). The real losers in all this are the dancers themselves, since they lose out on their easiest way to make money (and they need the money to survive more than we need the pussy). If anything, that should make them more amenable to outside meets. From everything we know so far, Covid is NOT an STD, so you can still bang these gals to your hearts content (LOL, as long as you socially distance yourselves from everybody else and don't breath on each other). Personally, I'd rather take a calculated risk with one person I know rather than a roomful of strangers.

I agree with you about ICON risking their liquor license, but lets see how that goes. Maybe they'll get away with it. I do know the full-nude bars (as opposed to topless and bikini bars) in Hillsborough (ones like the Mons, Ybor Strip, Deja Vu etc.) were already alcohol free even before all this, does anyone know if that means they're exempted from these bar closures?

If you get it you have no idea how bad the reaction will be from your body. Seemingly perfectly healthy people have died. You never know how your body will react. Life isn't a video game. There is no reset. Dead is dead. Even if you don't die you can suffer long term effects. I love the strip joints as much as anyone and used to frequent them several times per week. Strip clubs are high risk no matter what You do (because they are indoors, innumerable random contacts) and If you have Comorbidities.

Stopped by icon Saturday around 1300. One dancer who talks like Fran Dresher. Barmaid and waitress too busy on phone. Saved a lot of money by just walking out.
