Yes they keep your info on file for their records. So for you married guys taking a provider here isn't a good idea.
Married and been a member of Ambiance for years, never an issue. The only contact is with their email specials. Using your drivers license is safe, I've never been contacted. They probably do that because they accept cash for the rooms and no credit card security hold. Been to Ambiance and Axis, always clean, safe and discreet. You can get a reasonable 4 hour rate anytime, not just afternoon like the Sybaris.

Ambiance in particular is right in an area of lots of fast food places as well as a few ok sit downs. Actually all really walkable and fast. I go by there several times a week. Looks like a decent location as there are several no tel motels and ktchenette type monthlies that look iffy at best.

I would ask the front desk if food can be delivered to the room. I go out around the area restaurants for food. A few times I've brought food into the room.

Ambiance is a short stay motel. It is nice and serves it's purpose very well. It is NOT the place where you would want to spend a couple of days. You could stay there longer and have food delivered but the cost would make other places a much better option.

I have. It's sort of a Sybaris knockoff. It's pretty good for a couple of hours to play. You do have to join their membership club to get a room. It's not like an hourly motel where you pay cash and get a room.

    Cabin in the woods

Its called Hickory Hideaway. In Laurel, Illinois. http://www.hickoryhideaway.com/contactus.cfm.

It had a fireplace, a jacuzzi in the bedroom, and a big back porch / deck. Not short stay. I paid $145 per night. If I recall. About an hour west of Rockford. Its nice but not luxury. They had a big communal campfire, but the bugs made it unpleasant, so we stayed indoors.
