Just found this site and used it for today. They have big name hotels listed for downtown, airport and a few suburbs. Check-in / checkout times vary per hotel but it is for daytime use when these hotels have vacant rooms. Rooms are booked for a block of time during the day-without having to stay overnight at a savings compared to regular cost. I got a downtown hotel for 79.00 + taxes. It had a 9 am check-in and 4 pm checkout. I know it is more than most no-tels, but what a difference! Rooms are so much nicer, clean, and better locations than no-tels. You also have access to all facilities such as pool, room service, etc. I know this not an option for all of us all the time, but is does give a good option, especially if you want to be downtown. I spent 3.5 hrs there with a girl I met off of S. A. And we really enjoyed.

I went to check out this place over the weekend. The caretaker told me that they have totally 5 rooms to rent and I believe 3 are smaller and 2 are slightly larger. The small rooms rent for 20 an hour and the big ones at 30. I asked if I could go see the rooms and he happily obliged. The room is about 8 feet long and 5 feet wide. Has a proper door with a lock. There's a flat TV on the wall. Would be helpful to turn it on so what you do inside doesn't get heard outside. LOL. No pillows. Just 2 clean towels. The bed is firm like a leather car seat. I guess this way it is very easy to wipe the stains. Like you said it is a safe location and not bad at all for 20 if you are in the vicinity and need to take someone to quick bang on a whim. The drawback is that if you need to take a shower or use the toilet you will need to go out to the common stall area. But it sure is a fun thing to try out. I'm surprised that no one has posted here about their experience of banging in these rooms.

Posts: 486Motel 6 Elk Grove Village W Devon Ave Elk Grove Village IL
I see week day rates at the Motel 6 Elk Grove at $36.35 plus taxes come to 41.08.
But here is a way to bring it down even further. Buy hotels.com gift card at a discount at places like raise.com (currently $100 at 93.36, $50 at $46.72).
Your $41 motel 6 one now comes down to around $38. Not that different from the 4 hour motels and you get the whole day.

They serve their purpose.

This sure is a great suggestion. I haven't been to this place but sounds like it would be worth trying out when I'm in a pinch. BTW, how 'private' are the private rooms. The general impression is people go here to either watch or play with others.

They don't care what the arrangement as long as no business takes place inside. Basically don't ask don't tell. Hope this helps.

Agree. I have seen multiple family run non-chain shitty motels in and around Franklin Park and have thought that they got to have hourly cash only options. Because the area and folks who frequent these fit the bill. Fellow mongers who have experienced these motels please share your experience.

Sorry, this isn't concrete info, but there are a lot of shitty motels on Mannheim in Leyden Township and Franklin Park. Though it might be a little frightening, I would bet at least one of them offers hourly. Otherwise, both the Rand Manor and Brer Rabbit aren't too far away (like 15 minutes).

Would really like to find a Chi area (preferably South) motel that doesn't ask for I'd. I don't want my name attached anywhere.

Posts: 60Hammond or South Holland area?
Want to meet a lady from Indiana somewhere halfway, which puts us somewhere around Hammond or South Holland area. Anyone know of any short stays or hotels that have late morning check-in in that general area?
