Like mentioned here and other sites many times, don't say anything (right to remain silent) and don't lie. As they show in the documents, they had a pretty good idea what happened so if those that were stopped didn't remain silent and gave some story, they probably would have got them for lying to law enforcement. This was my thinking too at first. But then I remembered after the parkland shooting, hearing that cops are not actually required to intervene, which is why nothing happened to that cop that did nothing while those kids were dying. Also, none of these guys are getting charged with trafficking unless they KNEW about it. Every story has said the same, that they are getting hit with misdemeanors, so not sure where you got that they are being charged with trafficking. The 25 people involved with the shop are getting charged with that, not the customers. As of yet, we know nothing about whether the women there are trafficked or not. The media is only talking about the customers, and nothing about the women, other than they supposedly have a paper trail of them from China via NY to Florida.

I agree that every person that went there and didn't get a happy ending should have an invasion of privacy lawsuit just waiting to happen. Most of the above post appears to be correct but I believe the "300 girls etc. " is not. If I recall correctly; a highly publicized sweep by the locals and feds came up with only 1 actual trafficking victim. It is so obvious that this is not about trafficking or underage people because they watched and video taped the acts for at least 5 days as far as I can tell before they shut it down and made the arrests. If these girls were victims they would have had an obligation to intervene as soon as they noticed they where being abused or taken advantaged of. Cops or citizens for that matter can't sit back watch and video tape as a women is gang raped for instance to collect evidence and then track down the assailants at a later date. They have a responsibility to intervene. This was simply a sting that flipped the script, and in my opinion violated everyone's rights under the guise of trafficking by video taping the room and going after the clients and the establishment. In doing so they ruined all these guys lives by publicly labeling them sex traffickers for getting a HJ from willing masseuses that do this job because it pays better than Walmart. I have not, but have been thinking about how I would handle it. I think they need probable cause to stop you, but that could be speeding, light out, cross line, non-stop, etc. I'm sure they will hold an expensive ticket over your head for info. I guess I would just keep asking if I broke any laws and would be willing to take the ticket in exchange for giving up no data. Having not been in that situation yet, hard to say how I would handle it for sure.

After reading the report, that totally shocked me how many confessed. Or maybe those were the only ones that did fess up, perhaps there were others pulled over that said nothing and hence were not included in the report and not prosecuted. Which brings me to a very important point, don't talk when asked questions! That's their job-to make you say statements to incriminate yourself. My only response would be is that I received a massage. Period. Let them do the work of trying to piece everything together.

Probably depends on what was said. Maybe the officer informed them that the place is under surveillance for sex trafficking. That right there would make me possibly come clean about what went down, not rich enough to hire a competent lawyer so if he's agreeing to let me go after I confess I'd would be spilling the bean just the same. But if it was just an ole so we seen you leaving that establishments over there can you tell me what you were doing. I would probably have the same response as you. But on reading that report, it seems like a lot of guys are only paying. 20 for extra activities some high rollers throwing down $. Another thing of note is that they do know of these sites where people post about these places. Seem like they only act when neighbors and or other business owners call and complain. Which is more of a reason why to be respectful and not be parking in front of people houses or parking in other businesses parking lots when visiting these places just my 2 cents.
