I don't think this relationship between the monger and Sierra was casual at all. She knew him well enough to know where his parents lived and that they had stuff worth stealing. There's probably more going on beneath the surface here.

Train wrecks are traumatic even when seen from a distance. Anybody with a shred of empathy for others feels bad watching someone flush their life away.

I met Sierra many years ago, before all of the "enhancements" and craziness. Actually took her on a date. Never banged her. She seemed like a normal girl. I'm very glad that I didn't get drawn into her world.

This incident is a timely reminder that I should probably eject from a similar train wreck in progress.
