Both are regulars in town. Both are overpriced. The first one barely says a word and the second one can't stop talking. Either way, save your money. They are not worth it.

I'll close my rant with this:

Natasha Leggero: so I get pulled over for speeding. The police officer walks up to my window and says, "Do you know why I'm standing here?" Natasha, "Because you got all C's in highschool".

Its so true! Don't get bamboozled by someone that struggled with the simple laws of arithmetic.

You are correct. These girls will get caught up. But I only acknowledge time, hhr, hr. If they ask about what I want to do, just say "meet you" if they push and especially if the get demanding and ask me to say a sex act it is a cop and I end the contact. I've called hundreds of ads for friends and myself and I'm positive I was communicating with a cop trying to entrap me at least a dozen times. The coach asked for "multiple sex acts" and offered money. That is all they need. Letting it go till he pulls out money or takes his clothes off is just the cops humiliating him beyond what is necessary. I'm sure I ended calls with escorts too but I don't care. Not worth the risk. Trying to keep these young guys safe.

I would FULLY support the police under four (4) conditions:

1 - They had set this up as an underage sting. Meaning monger was responding to an ad or looking for sex from someone under the age of 18.

2 - If there was an actual victim of HUMAN TRAFFICKING involved.

3 - Illegal narcotics were involved.

4 - Other criminal activity was involved IE... illiegal firearms or robbery.

If any of those conditions existed. Then throw the book at him.

If the HOTEL was having a problem with prostitution, why did the manager simply deny or refuse the use of the room to the handler/manager or prostitute?

I look at it this way. What if the coach had been on a dating site. He met up with the woman at her hotel. He then took the woman to a fancy restaurant bought her a lobster dinner and drinks. They then went back to his house or her hotel and had consensual sex. Is that a crime?

If that is a crime... then IMO then any sex that is not for the sole purpose of procreation could then be a criminal act. If we have two (2) consenting adults where is the CRIME?

Also, doesn't this mean anyone who performs a service in exchange for cash or anything of value also guilty of a crime? Are we going to lock up plumbers, electricians, carpenters, doctors and dentists? Hell I know some employees are treated worse by their employer under worse conditions than what most prostitutes experience when they perform their job... does that mean employers are guilty of a criminal act?

I will agree with those who said the moment he saw LE anywhere in the area of the hotel, he should have bailed. Another option would have been for him to say if this date is on the up and up... meet me at (somewhere close by) and lets have lunch, coffee, or a drink. If they bail it wasn't meant to be.

There is NO victim or potential victim here.

    Just my 2 cents.

    The reason

That prostitution is illegal is because of the simple fact that there would be too much of it going on, as we know that the great majority of men really enjoy doing the dirty and would definitely be willing to pay for it consistently if it was legal. How would it look if the biggest industry in many cities was prostitution?? No doubt it would be a multi-billion dollar industry if it were legal. It isn't a fair or just reason, but society functions on a lot of unfair laws tbh. Obviously, consensual sex acts between adults, whether for money or not is not only not a bad thing, but we wouldn't have any new humans born into the world if this didn't happen.

And yes, this coach is a huge moron for explicitly discussing sex acts for money via text. If you do not discuss anything directly for the donation, then they cannot do anything with that. Same with SWs / car pickups, if you don't say anything explicitly as far as what you want, they cannot do anything. It is not illegal to give money to someone for any or no reason. There are too many guys on this board who are either paranoid, not very smart, and / or like to scare others about getting caught. Also, there was a freaking cop in the lobby! How big of a dummy do you have to be to continue on with the meeting after seeing something like that LOL. That is absolutely horrific decision-making. This guy unfortunately let his little head guide him and now he has to pay the price for it.

In general, if you can get to a place mentally where your big head is in control, and you do not put yourself in any situation where you even have a hunch that things could go wrong, you will be totally fine in this hobby. It's when you ignore common and clear warning signs usually when you can get into trouble.

    Rough Business

I feel bad for the guy, but not too bad.

Part of the reason I do strip clubs way more than escorts -- I think the last time I saw an escort was a decade ago -- is the risks involved in the escort game, as well as the work required if you want to mitigate the risks. If anything, this is a reminder: Do your research, particularly if you have a lot to lose. I know some of you are willing to TOFTT; I'm not. If she's not well-reviewed by a few customers who have an extensive review history, or affiliated with a provider who is, don't take the chance. As someone else said below, error toward bailing on first sight of any red flags. Live to fight another day. What attempts this guy made to be careful weren't careful enough and he paid dearly.

Obviously it very much sucks for him and he's in a bad spot now, but it's not unrecoverable. The school kinda had to do what it did; parents, particularly in well-to-do suburbs and of girls, are not going to let their daughters spend a lot of time around a guy with any sort of sexual impropriety on his record, no matter how good of a coach he is. But he can probably make the leap to the men's college game as a Division 3 assistant or something, perhaps out of state, have no issues and eventually get back on a path to head coaching if he wants. He'll get through the legal issues; assuming he has no priors, he's clearly been successful otherwise and should get off with a lenient penalty. Whatever happens with his home life happens.

It could have been far worse, and he can sell it as such if he needs to. He wasn't doing anything pervy with his players, at least that we know of. He wasn't pursuing a minor. Dude just wanted to get laid. When we're honest with ourselves, we all do. He just went about it kinda wrong.

We all agree that this is a crock of shit but we need to protect ourselves from the bullshit.
I think after he started to undress that's when he was arrested. His intent then was obvious to the police.

    Depends on intent, I guess

"I look at it this way. What if the coach had been on a dating site. He met up with the woman at her hotel. He then took the woman to a fancy restaurant bought her a lobster dinner and drinks. They then went back to his house or her hotel and had consensual sex. Is that a crime?"

Could be charged as a crime and I know people of both genders that have been charged with "non-marital intercourse".

    944.30  Prostitution.

(1 m)  Any person who intentionally does any of the following is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor:

    (a) Has or offers to have or requests to have nonmarital sexual intercourse for anything of value.

    (b) Commits or offers to commit or requests to commit an act of sexual gratification, in public or in private, involving the sex organ of one person and the mouth or anus of another for anything of value.

    (c) Is an inmate of a place of prostitution.

    (d) Masturbates a person or offers to masturbate a person or requests to be masturbated by a person for anything of value.

    (e) Commits or offers to commit or requests to commit an act of sexual contact for anything of value.

Of course, a woman in a "dating" situation would never admit to engaging in "an act of sexual contact for anything of value". Same for the upstanding, wholesome, "ladies" who use their attractiveness and "sexual contact" to lure a man into providing them with the lifestyle of their dreams, only to "lose interest" later, proving that they were just sloring themselves out to get "something of value".
