Was the bond put up in cash? Or did her benefactor get the bond from a bail bond company, which I understand usually charges 10%? He may have put up "only" $7 K, not $70 K. A lot of money, either way! And he was probably hoping for some return on his "investment".

Reminds me of the guy that helped ex-cop Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek escape from Taycheedah. I always hoped he got "something" for his efforts to make up for having to do hard time after they both got caught.

Waukesha County never returns the bail money unless there is extra over the cost of the fines. Even if she stayed clear of violations, showed up as expected and everything thy keep any money and apply it to fines, court costs and restitution odered almost as if to guarantee they get their money even though it isn't from the violator.

Apparently the police got the phone of an escort in West Virginia and a politician was one of her former clients that got arrested based on past conversations.

Unless I misread ccap, it looks like the total bail was 100 k. 30 k on one charge and 70 k on another. All posted recently. From ccap you can also see the Pewaukee address she listed once she was released. And, using the Waukesha County tax listing database, its easy enough to find the name of the owner of the condo that she listed as her address. And its easy to run ccap on that guy.

And guess what? That guy was one of the men caught in the Beaver Dam Sting involving Passion Pixie a few years ago. (google "Beaver Dam prostitution" if you don't know the story) He was charged with 2 misdemeanor prostitution charges, and pled guilty to one of them. And his wife divorced him right after that, all per ccap. Its not clear if he was the one who posted the bail. But it does appear that she was moving in with him as soon as she got out on bail. Wonder if she took his car too? LOL.
