The first two paragraphs should raise a few eyebrows. While not mentioned who the smartphone makers are that have been subpoenaed by the NY grand jury, I'm sure we all have a pretty good idea who they are are. Worse yet, it says at least two of them.

It's actually probably more dangerous on that side of town now or at least will be soon. I can say that as I grew up there. Back in the day that cops were required to live in the city that was the safest area to live in. Now they don't have to be in city anymore. What makes that area more dangerous is the hood while dangerous has rules that will keep things at a certain level. In the hood people may not talk to the cops but they know everyone and what is going on in a 10 block radius. Up on the NW side you're lucky if people know others from just 5 houses away. So it's what they don't see coming that will be their problem.
BTW the trained eye will see the drug buys going on up there. There won't be any street walkers really because wide streets and boulevards aren't conducive but they'll have everything else.

Posts: 275Murder on 91st and Mill
Word is the dead woman is a provider, killed by her pimp. According to local radio news show, the woman was killed and the pimp took off with their 2 year old. The pimp has been arrested. As of this afternoon, they were still looking for the two year old. A few years ago, I was robbed at 91 and Mill and have stayed away ever since. Obviously, my grid is tarnished by the robbery, but it has always felt to me like that area is one of those hot pockets that is every bit as dangerous as down in the middle of the hood.

So I wonder if she's been flipped? She plead guilty yesterday to charges in racketeering indictment. Additional charges brought against Raniere. Seagrams fortune heiress Clare Bronfman and others trials start next month.

Dnc convention coming. Good economy boost but not for escorts. Sure the LEO will ramp up ahead of time. Be alert. Granted politics is dirty so maybe some good talent shows up.

Interesting article that makes several points others here have made:
https://nypost.com/2019/02/28/how-pa...titution-case/
Its best to read the whole article, but among the points:
The gals he saw were not trafficing victims. He was stopped after his first visit in a traffic stop that was probably illegal. The video recordings were probably illegal. There is no proof in the affidavits that he solicited anything. And, of course, since they had months worth of evidence prior to starting recording, why didn't LE step in much sooner to protect whatever victims of sex trafficing there might have been.

We barely see the tip of the sex trade advertised. While I don't believe the estimates that around 25 million women in the US are in the sex trade, that's 1 out of every 6, I wouldn't doubt a figure in the low millions.
