As an addendum to the "never pre-pay" policy, another recommendation would be with how to properly "donate". Even with a known provider I always put the donation in a blank envelope and don't seal it. I place it in plain sight and let the provider know I've done it. If she asks what it is, I tell her the donation. If she wants to count it, that's fine but she needs to leave it there until the appointment is finished. The idea is that it's a donation. Moreover, I brought all my stuff with me including the envelope. When I leave, if I happen to leave anything behind, that's my choice / problem but I certainly have not paid for any services. We have not exchanged any money for service. Whether or not that would hold up in court, I can't say for sure but if they're recording it, I've made it clear. I do not hand money to any provider and I don't let them take it until I've left. Again, if I happen to leave it behind when I leave, that's on me.

Red flag right off the bat with prepay BS on the ad. I was pretty sure someone had reported this before but decided to text with the burner to find out. Gave me the address as The Edgewater and needed a deposit before booking for safety. I replied good luck with that and received a couple more texts until I finally decided to block the scam.
