I've had a couple of apparent providers tell me I was using one when texting with G Voice. One said she'd stop texting if I continued with that, and one resulted in a near-LE experience. Since then, I've been treating them knowing as a red flag.

Or am I missing out by doing that? I suppose the simple answer is to get a burner phone.

In terms of sussing out potential disappointment, the number one rule is to avoid anything that seems too good to be true. I've had some pleasant surprises, but they are rare. Any prepay (where you provide a "deposit" via paypal or cashapp or a webcam or dating signup before even meeting the girl is an obvious scam).

Tinyeye or google search images that seem too good to be true.

If an ad lists weight in kilogram, you know that shit is fake. If the phone number area code is not Wisconsin, it's probably fake, but could also be a girl traveling through. Traveling girls are more of a red flag to me as the fact that she's traveling suggests she feels no particular interest in establishing a good reputation. So might fuck you over or treat you poorly because she thinks she can. She'll be gone the next day or two anyway. So I usually am even more wary of traveling girls.

The dialogue is an opportunity to detect bad attitude and probably shitty or limited service.

Those are my thoughts. Curious to hear yours. What works for you? What have you tried that doesn't work?
