I was just expecting some people to disagree (you included), so I was hedging. Stating my experiences without declaring it as a universal truth, didn't want to start any arguments. And yeah each person's budgets are the ultimate decider. In my younger days when I went to Vegas I would spend 300 to 400 for an hour with a Higher end escort and it was well worth the money for the GFE.
