It depends on what one is looking for. YMMV here is greater than anywhere else. There are alot of scammers and sex workers on the site that for me has to be weeded out. There are more real girls than the fakes on the site. I'm older and am looking for something specific and try to limit it within an hour of Charleston so that limits my choices greatly. You may be right about the time of year, I've never had a WVU girl quote me more than $3-$3. 5 (which is still ridiculous) and I just had one ask for $5. There must be some idiots paying it or they wouldn't be so adamant.

The site is legit and whether it's worth the membership cost that would be for you to have to decide. Guess it depends on what your definition of a sb is and what your looking for. You can make a profile but without a membership it's pretty worthless. You can't read, send or resonance any messages without a paid membership. My suggestion.
