Do you mind elaborating on "A little bit more work, can do better"? Did you mean jmsuttr should negotiate on the price (which I thought was not welcomed by providers) or find someone with better price / quality? I'm fairly new to this but I found that girls with below 8/10 in terms of looks at the other site not that appealing to me, dinged one time with an 7/10 (Only 6/10 in my eyes) but those high review ones generally not below $$$ for hr, and lots of them do not do hh, which puts me, generally a one shot guy in disadvantage. Here's one way: Post a couple of reviews on the oThER site to gain access to search function and more provider details. Then do a search with your particular parameters for appearance, performance, specific menu items (like BBBJ), etc. Then use those results to further research your short list by checking this forum for reports and intel.

Also, what's 8/10 in appearance and service is subjective to each hobbyist, so you're the only one who can make that call. IMHO, more and better homework just gives you more options and hopefully increases the odds of success of finding the best price-value proposition.

About negotiation, there's no way to generalize across all providers and hobbyists because it's an art form and there are multiple variables involved. Some mongers make the mistake of trying to negotiate each and every session while others wrongly assume negotiations will always be rebuffed. The truth lies somewhere in between.

But these kinds of dynamics mean that hobbyists on the demand side of the equation, at least the ones who frequent this forum and tend to care more about the price-value ratio, need to put in extra work to get the most for their hard-earned $.

I had some free time and was staying in the city for a few days, so I decided to wade through the new, improved BP.

If you check the "Women for Men" and "Therapeutic Massage" sections you'll find a lot of the ads there. Also, since this is a self-imposed ban by BP and they've won every court battle they've faced, it's possible this could be a temporary strike to make a point. I don't have any inside knowledge but, if that's the case, BP could come back online at any time. If they don't, something else will spring up to take its place, as has always happened in the history of the hobby.

I've noticed today that they added sort by "video" to the "Women for Men" section; which is a feature that wasn't there just yesterday. The section has expanded to add most, it not all, the features that was missing under w4 m. It seems that BP seems to be well aware of the shift and is being accommodating (at least temporarily). Today its looking almost business as usual in terms of volume.
