Any half decent hotels or bars near the G&S club? I stay out near Roanoke overnight a lot and would not mind popping in albeit if I was staying at a hotel nearby or there was also good bars / food also near. Not too familiar with that part of town at all though.

I live in that area, and as far as decent hotels I recommend are Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, Holiday Inn, SpringHill Suites. In that order. If you want to go a bar in that area. I'd say check out Fork In The Alley. There are some looking women up in there. May this info help you out.

I got bored one Friday and showed up around 10 pm. Yep, it's a bikini bar. There were at least a dozen girls there. Only one of them was to my liking. She was short, young & blonde but she stayed to herself & I never got a word in. I talked to one of the girls. $50 per song if you want a private dance. You can pay $200 for 30 minutes but I wasn't. Not for the girls I saw. Once again I feel like you have a better shot picking up women at a regular bar than this place. The girl who collects you're money at the door doesn't speak to you, doesn't look at you, no smile no nothing. Once inside, most of the girls have already latched onto the one guy who won't be buying anything from them. I was there willing & ready to throw money away, but damn I sat there mostly watching porn on my phone. I left after an hour. It's $15 to get in. They now have alcohol at the bar. I go there for the ass not the booze.

Appreciate the update on G&S. I always get bored and think about stopping in there, but then I don't because I know I'm not going to walk out with no ass. 50 $ for a dance a private dance per song is ridiculous. Then again, it was like 35 $ when I went two years ago. Figured they would go up on that price. Shame, I'll pass.

Doesn't seem like there's much chatter on the board here (excluding the OG conversation a couple weeks ago). Just wondering if many folks frequent the club anymore? Went regularly for a few years but last time I went (about 5-6 months ago) I was very unimpressed & sounds like it may be worse now. Can anyone share any intel on how things are looking these days?

Also I saw they're now open at noon during the week, is that correct? Can't imagine they're getting a lot of business on a weekday.

Lmao. OG is ghetto slang straight from the hood. It means Original Gangsta. It refers to the Old Skool people. The ones who were there in it's prime. For me Gn'S was at its peak from 1999 - 2010 ish. I can't exactly remember. But damn! Take out was easy because those girls spent all that money on crack faster than they could make it. The girls were all 8 - 10's.

Keep in mind these ladies, unlike yourself, and your latest crop of trailer park skanks, actually generate revenue and contribute to the bottom line. Perhaps in your spare time, when you aren't taking a beat down from your ex-significant other, you could take some leadership or stress management courses online. I emphasize online that way she knows where you are and you won't risk getting pistol whipped in the parking lot. Again. Also, if you want tip money so bad and feel so entitled; get a second job bartending at The Park. You're a better fit there anyway. Swagger out (for now).

Since they started serving alcohol, this place has been reduced to a hip-hop bikini bar. If you want to see some TnA, you can pay a girl a per song rate to do that upstairs. There are a few OGs there who still look good however most of the newer chics look like a common bunch of refugees from the group home. Lots of new rules and it seems the morons that run this place are trying to generate revenue by any means possible. I usually drop a pretty good sum of cash when I visit. You know, help the girls a little, but the club has their hand in everything now. Definitely won't support this business model.

I haven't been able to stop by the club since the change allowing alcohol and changing to bikini club. Is it still a bikini club? I kind of expect it to go back to the way it was previously.

Last time I was there one of the dancers told me they were going to start serving alcohol, I told her I probably wouldn't be back then. I don't get it, they had the perfect setup, naked ladies next door to a bar. Used to have to work in Norfolk, VA a lot and bikini bars is what they had there and I never liked them. Hopefully Gold and Silver will go back to the way it was, every time I have been there in the past the place was packed it's crazy they would change the business model.
