I bumped in to Sara this afternoon. She is the petite, while girl who used to initially live off 95 at the Suburban and then moved to the Interstate Inn. Most of us have seen her until her husband returned from vacation and they started robbing folks per reports. She has gained around 20 lbs, is off chemicals and isn't working currently. She is aware of her bad reviews. She said that she may be business since times were bad for her. She was with a different guy this time and not her husband. He looked equally sketchy.

Once you see those picture you need to jump on it at one. Pictures indicated a rel deal. You need to learn how to spot those pictures. They are distinctively different.

Speaking of CL scams, one should NOT flag posts that are clearly scams. All that really does is help the scammers improve their future scam posts by teaching them which of their posts guys could tell were fake and which ones they couldn't. It's a great example of evolution in action.

I meant to say, she lives in a decent trailer park and the place smells like a cigarette butt and looks like it hasn't been picked up or cleaned in weeks. She is a decent dream though and will talk your ear off if you let her.

Not saying this is comprehensive, or even correct, but when browsing through CL, I've picked up on a few indicators that have proven (to me anyway) to be fairly accurate.

1 - Double Photos (Two identical photos. Normally aligned horizontally).

2 - Multiple blank lines before the ad text (generally at least two).

3 - Photos don't match description in the ad.

4 - Embedded GMail or other freemail address.

5 - Spurious text at the end of the ad with a pile of white space between it and the ad. If you want a laugh, scroll down and read some of them. They read like a series of canned ads designed to address literally every kink you can think of.

6 - kik references.

I'm sure I'm missing some, but that eliminates most ads for me.

That's a great list. I'd only add, grammar that suggests English isn't quite yet a second language. The double pictures is a dead giveaway as is the gmail addy at the very end of the post. I've also noticed if they say they're for real in the first sentence, that's a flag, too. It isn't definitive but unless they say something like "I'm real AND it's snowing out (and it is) or the Flying Squirrels won a game (and they did, that's a rarity by itself! Then I'm suspicious. You can add TGTBT to the list, too.

How do you guys filter out the less than desirable and scammers on CL? I replied to my first CL ad this morning. No return message yet. Not Sure if I am brave enough to meet a horny MILF off a personal ad. All I think about is getting robbed once I open that door.
