The IPs that's less used are better when Posting. And The best IP is your own IP. I have about 4 of those legit IPs.
This is where the codes come in. When you actually post a lot of ads, you will have to verify with your email account- you just log on to your email and hit the link and you are done, but users like me that's not enough. CL is smart and it want you to verify through a phone either by text or by voice (cannot use google voice and cannot use text app. CL knows.) So everyday when I post they ask me what the code is.
]I have 200 PVA (phone verification phone number with text). I immediately receive the code and input into CL ad and well they let me post for a while with that account and phone number until such time they get suspicious and want another verification.
This is where the ad comes in with the secret code you are going to give this fool, he will be able to post another 100 post with a real pva (phone verification account) and email.
So here is the low down. You will never get the taste of the honey just giving up your secret coed so they can post. If they are posting illegal stuff, I don't know if it get back to yo9 u.
Just make sure they don't deal with the Hernico finest. I also get my ass canned once with them. They are vicious.

There are many scams on CL, but it sounded like they wanted the code number associated with your account. When you get a CL account they associate a code number to your phone number. You have to enter that code to verify your account. Basically they're trying to take over your account to post scams. Posters who put a cell number in the contact info for responders to use are typically the ones they target because they already have your phone number. https://www.craigslist.org/about/hel...e_verification.

Posts: 404A new scam. I think
After responding to several CL ads I get a response via txt. Actually I got several responses over several days. The best was, "I'm bored. Do you want to pound my ass. " Most of them were just "Are you there?" When I asked who it was and where she was I never got a reply until today and then I got like six texts back. A photo in one (TGTBT of course) and a typical CL ad reply with the "secret code" and I never placed an ad. So then I get a text from her wanting the CL "secret code" - you know the one that explicitly says, "If someone asks you for this code, its a scam. " She said that was how she would know I was real. Written in broken English.
So, I just wrote back and said this sounded like a scam. What I can't figure out is how it works or what it's supposed to do. I didn't send the code and don't plan to. Anyone know how this one works?
Lh.
