The same thing happened to me and they asked me to verify with a phone number. I tried to use my burner app which I have always used and it would not send a phone call or a text very frustrating.

I got a hit off of my Craigslist ad and started talking to a woman who says she is in Petersburg. She told me a waist down nude photo is required for her LE check. I downloaded one off the internet and send it to her but have not heard anything yet. Last four digits are 5609. I can't seem to find a review with those last four numbers set something up for tomorrow morning unless somebody has a bad review of her.

I've been fishing on craigslist lately. Fishing on Craigslist has become a lot of work. Anyway I get a response from a girl who sends me a pic. Tattooed across her chest in italics is, death before dishonor. She's fairly attractive and included in her reply is her phone number for me to text. So I do. I get an instant response from her. So I text back I'd like to voice verify that you are in fact a woman. She's not hearing of it. No call. So I put her on the back burner and about 12 hours later I try again. I text her and ask if she wants to meet for a car date for. 40. I get another instant response. "did you get the gift card yet?

Well, that ended it for me. I mean, why accept cash when you can have a gift card! Who would fall for this shit?

Does anyone know who or what I'm talking about?

You might consider sending her another text: "I love irony. I know the gift card scam. Dishonesty = Dishonor. You might add a line to your tattoo: "Or vice-versa, whatever".

I tried too but its a gift card scam, it starts with get a card then they want to verify amount so send them number or send them a pic of the card with the number showing, before you know it money gone. Do people fall for that nonsense.
