I agree that they need to be cautious too. But there are limits for both sides. Instead of using Google Voice, I could have a burner phone, which would get around her no-google-voice thing but would give her zero extra real protection because she wouldn't have access to my personally-identifying information.

The only way this would sorta work was if her restriction was, "I must be able to use Hiya / WhitePages to search your number and find your actual personally-identifying information. " Which would likely reduce her traffic to very near zero. And who knows, maybe that's what she wants. She could have a regular job and a safe list of regulars that normally brings her the extra $$ she needs, and her restrictions are her way of keeping the flow of new callers to a level she feels like dealing with.

It's a balancing act between security and ease of connection, for both sides. Each girl will choose her own balance point, and each guy will choose whether his own balance point meets hers. Hers and mine don't currently meet. That's unfortunate, but I can live with it, and obviously so can she.

Went to a sure thing during the dark times and saw Ashley in Petersburg again. I like her sessions, but you have to have a plan for the smokey clothes afterwards. She said that she hadn't really noticed a drop in volume, though that was pretty early in the outage. Standard service and average price, but it was good to have somewhere to go without getting ripped off or pinched. Glad to have this site back to have an opportunity for some research.
