Unfortunately, this inter-agency kerfuffle will not have any effect on LE priorities. Efforts to stamp out "trafficking" will continue because they are fueled by the twin drivers of community sentiment (which = votes for politicians) and money (as in federal and state grants). One, or both, of those will have to change in order for there to be a material effect on the policing of consensual adult behavior.

Stay away from business locations that are open to the public. That includes Asian massage parlors, Latina massage parlors, and (insert other description here) massage parlors. Any businesses like these that serve the public are subject to inspection and LE visits without notice. If a monger gets caught inside during a surprise visit, they can feign ignorance and innocence but LE will put them through the grinder before releasing them. If they get caught mid-stroke, then that's a much higher level of LE-induced pain. As a last resort, try to visit at a time when a surprise visit is less likely.

It's also better to avoid ACS, LCS, and agencies, all of which usually operate from apartments. While LE needs a warrant before they can gain entry, those are still potentially on the Anti-Trafficking radar. Your safest bet would be to patronize well-reviewed indies. Please note that I said safest, not best. Your particular mongering tastes will determine your personal risk-reward calculation.

Situational awareness is always a good thing, but it's not foolproof. If you're inside the room (or maybe inside your provider?) when a sting goes down, you're going to be detained, identified, and questioned (at a minimum).

One final note for VA (alleged) clients: Unless I've missed something, there's still been absolute radio-silence on the part of VA agencies. There are no guarantees, of course, but prosecution of anyone in VA is looking less and less likely (IMO).

Another data point to support this view- VA agencies are not involved in the seizure of the BTT site. If they were, they would want the publicity there as well.

Looks like the privacy and due process arguments will be decided by the full court, assuming the SJC doesn't reject the appeals. That's pretty much what I expected.

Now it'll be interesting to see with what sense of urgency (or lack thereof) the SJC addresses the issue. And also whether they schedule any oral argumentation or simply decide based on the briefs submitted by all the parties. One other item of note is that, per the report, only 14 defendants filed appeals. Does that mean only 14 (alleged) clients are in legal jeopardy? If so, that doesn't square with earlier numbers (28, IIRC) that have been floated out there. Not sure what that means, exactly, but we'll learn more as the saga unfolds! Also, not sure how things work in MA, but it's possible there could be amicus briefs (from the media, and others), which could turn this into a real three-ring circus! Get the popcorn ready.
