I clicked "no" when I visited that site and found some interesting ads. I'm hoping they don't eventually block all access from American IP addresses as a certain other site did.

The easiest way to get around this problem is to download the internet browser called "Opera". Use the Opera browser and go into the settings and enable VPN, which if you're unfamiliar stands for virtual private Network. You can then set your location to multiple other countries. It will appear as though your IP address is from a different country. Game on!

This site is pretty good actually. Seems to be very Up-to-date. I wish they had a little more under the massage category, but I guess that will come with time. Anyone have any recommendations that are comparable to the Babylon site?

I've also noticed an increase in "list price" for many providers, particularly ones who used to post on BP but now have Eros ads. So that means we mongers need to check our negotiating toolboxes and hone our skillsets. I posted a bit about that earlier.

One phrase I've been using a lot is "I'm sure you're worth every penny, but" and follow that with what my general budget is, or ask if she has weekday or morning specials, and anything else similar I can think of. The idea is to keep the conversation going, and keep a positive vibe, while giving her multiple opportunities to offer a lower rate. If bookings are slow and she gets a good feeling about you, then good things might happen. If not, then the goal is to end the conversation on a positive note and keep the door open for the future.

Another point that occurs to me is that many Latina and Asian providers come to the DMV but are sending money home to support their families. Some of them might be more willing to be reasonable in order to keep busy and maintain a regular client base and income stream.

Thanks for the reminder. I saw your original post on the subject. At the time I was hoping that prices would settle back down after everything returned to some semblance of normal. I was looking over some ads and noticed how the prices seem to be going up and up. Last night I commented over in the DC forum about a gal advertising at $600 for 90 minutes. Today a number of the ads I saw at Adult Look and Adult Search listed prices of $200 to $500. Even Shannon, whom I saw twice several years ago, now lists $200 as her rate. I know this market can be expensive, but my last visit with her featured a tipsy provider and rushed service. That and she has way too many tattoos.
