Did you actually take time to read the article? If you did, you'd see that ALL national Hotel chains, including Motel 6 , Red, Roof, etc (which all belong to the American Hotel and Lodging Asoc) are participating in this "National Campaign" Here's the key quote from the article:

"In June, the American Hotel & Lodging Association announced a national campaign "to unite the industry around a single, comprehensive approach to fight trafficking. ".

As part of the effort, the group and its member companies have trained more than a million employees around the world, and more is expected to coincide with National Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January, president and CEO Chip Rogers said in a statement Friday. ".

I think by "low end" they meant non-chain hotels and motels.

Exactly! A lot of the low end hotels and notels are independently owned and the owners are familiar with the providers. Several providers have told me the owners know what they do. One traveling provider told me she paid a little extra fee, for the promise that LEO would not bother her.

Enforcement on the low end of the market will be difficult. And if they are paying an extra fee, those wouldn't give up easy extra off the books money. Hotel business is not a high margin business.

My feelings.

If it a provider that I know and trust. Like years or several visits are in the past, I don't mind an in call.

But if it is someone new, it is always outcall. You are in control of the whole situation. BTW, always go with your gut feelings.
