What are you guys thoughts on meeting with a lady hotel vs residents?

Would you feel safer hotel or they're "residential home" (if you believe that).

I had have both experiences more with hotels, but residential I feel more comfortable.

Just want to hear some thoughts, opinions, etc.

Its prolly just me because I think more tactical think comfort but I like hotels better simply for 1 reason fewer rooms to search. When I walk in I search the room even pulling back the shower curtain if its not already back. Just making sure its just me and her and there won't be any surprise visitors. But if you go to a ladies home then there are multiple rooms to search some ladies won't mind you looking through their entire house but they're usually is always a room they won't let you go in.

If Pirate Bay and other overseas sites hosted in caves can be touched this one can! Hosting overseas doesn't protect anymore if the website is relegated to business in USA. Gov arm has a long reach. Be safe and careful protect the site.

The Pirate Bay guys were from Sweden and they were prosecuted by wait for it, the Swedish Government because, and again wait for it, what they were doing was illegal in Sweden. Swedish citizen, Swedish court, Swedish prosecutor, Swedish witnesses, Swedish jail. Are you sensing a theme there?

It's the US government, not the World Wide government, in most of the rest of the civilized world prostitution is legal, it's legal because they understand that sex worker rights are human rights and their governments are not theocracy's.

Seriously man, educate yourself just a little. We have some exposure that we are fixing right now but a foreign company, owning a foreign website hosted in a foreign country isn't subject to the laws of the US.

My thing is that backpage is close to a billion dollar company that could and probably had the best lawyers and counsel. Even with all that they couldn't avoid the wrath of USA GOV and I believe they were hosted overseas later on. So can a small site like this avoid the wrath I have doubt.

Their offices were in Dallas, Texas. Their server was in Holland but THEY were in the USA.

But, as an expert in international law I'm sure you're right. Next thing you know Bairesgirls is going to get shut down.

It was only a matter of time to where it was going to shut down especially with the move to the dating link of backpage. I knew it was going to happen.

Yup. Right there with you. As soon as the initial arrest happened, I knew it was just a matter of time. First, the "adult section" was removed and the ads moved to the dating section, and "everyone" argued that was all that would happen because of the terms of the ECDA and I'm foolish to believe otherwise, then the BP ads had to, change to just #s and a fb, Instagram, or Twitter feed, and same thing. Now this. Maybe those few of us who advised caution aren't so stupid?
