I am not saying you can't find one who is a "genuine friend" but have you ever saw the movie "Big Hand for the Little Lady". Those guys thought they had met the best little wife in the world a true "good woman". But guess what. If you don't know watch the move old western setting comedy good movie.

I have heard from a very trusted source that Straw Plains, Lovell and Watt exits are all favorite sting spots for Uncle LEO! They also target Ladies, and Drivers fairly often! Lot Lizzards and their haunts are something if avoid in this area! Just Sayin!

A few months back I saw a couple of ads on CL with two women claiming to be stranded at the Straw Plains exit needing some help. They were asking if any truckers needed company. Funny thing was, they were advertising for about three weeks in a row. Sounds like they weren't stranded but setting up shop. Same pictures were in all the ads. Maybe they have just changed their business plan.

Did you find out if they were from the area? Do they go there often and any digits? If you do have any of that info and wouldn't care to please PM me. I live close to there and that would be a great pit stop for me.

Not much. Sara claimed to be from out of town but doubt it. Car a very light blue 2 dr sled some damage, rust. Think they'll be around there late night, seemed like they knew they could make cash there pretty easy. This isn't the first time I've had luck at that exit (cute panhandling girl at MickeyD's comes to mind) but -- you know, hit or miss.

Yea this is a seldom used thread, as truck stops around here have always been hit/miss, usually miss. But after cruising around for a couple of hours late last night, pulled into a big strawplains exit gas station about 130 am -- honestly just to answer a text from a friend (don't text while driving).

But then I saw a car come out of the semitruck parking area (that's always THE sign). Big ole light blue clunker of a car, it pulled up beside me. Sure enough, two women -- both pretty cool. After the usual bs story of bad luck, suggested we move to a more private locale to talk more. Long story short, we had a little car party and I left smiling. One of them called herself SaraSmiles ('after the song'). Damage was a grand total of 30 + a half of a leftover pizza!

If you see a car around the big trucks especially late at night, check it out -- pays off sometimes. Apparently, so does buying a large pizza.

Guys, I do understand what you're saying I'm just saying it is or at least can be a bit more complicated than that.

For what it's worth I'm late 30s and my friend is a few years older than me and so we are neither old nor young.

We used to work together and so the fact that our friendship developed with the backdrop of we were being paid to spend time together complicates that equation a bit.

Actually the entire relationship is immensely complicated and the short version is, we got deeply involved with each other emotionally while we we're both out fucking other people and then talking about it like two guys would while we were both being paid to be in the same place, at the same time and usually just the two of us.

I will admit that I now have a great deal invested there both in terms of time and money and I've had more than one guy basically tell me that I'm an idiot.

My view is, if you're willing to toss a little money around, pussy is damned easy to come by.

Genuine friendship isn't and also isn't something you can buy.
