Say, I am just curious. The Strip Clubs in Knoxville seem to be pretty much uniform in that they are all pretty poor quality, compared to say Atlanta or even Nashville. Are all of them owned by the same people by any chance? You would usually expect more of a range of poor to good in an industry that usually is very profitable.

I had some time to kill, so I decided to see what the Knoxville Strip Club was like on a Saturday night. I had been spending most of my time at The Ball since one of my favorite dancers was there. It hadn't been in the other clubs in months. This is a brief report of my experience.

THE EMERALD.

The club has had a complete turnover in girls since May 2013. All of the former girls were given their walking papers and management started over. A half dozen girls were on the floor at any given time and only 2 were worth your time. Naomi (tall, thicker yet firm, bi-racial of black and oriental mix, beautiful face) and Brooke (athletic, tight body, spinner type, excellent conversationalist) were the stars of show. It was from 10 pm to midnight, and there was little activity going on and the energy was low. VIP 40, table side 20, no specials. This is the first time that I had been in a while and with such turnover, I didn't get the vibe that takeout was immediately available.

THE KATCH.

For a while, The Katch had benefited from some of the hotter girls from the other clubs migrating there in a mad exodus. Well, those girls have apparently migrated out of stripping altogether. It looked like a retirement home for pole dancers and I'm convinced that a couple were card-carrying AARP members. Precious, who used to work at The Emerald, was the star of the place. Keep in mind that the girls don't show any cooch while on stage unless the money is flowing. Classic Catch-22, no cooch showing if tips not flowing, but tips won't flow if no cooch on display. That place was depressing and I only stayed from midnight. 1 am The only reason I stayed that long is because I wanted to finish a couple of beverages. VIP Couch 30, not sure about the other offerings. Takeout opportunities were likely plentiful, but to each his own.

THE MOUSE'S EAR.

The atmosphere was better and the girls were much hotter. It had a true party atmosphere going on which is what you want in strip club. The girls were all friendly and made their rounds. Holly never disappoints in the Mouse's Ear. She is a true spinner and has a porn star quality about her. VIP couch 30 (2 for 1 at top of hour) , table top 20 (2 for 1 at top of hour) , table side 10. I didn't get the vibe that takeout was readily available.

THE BALL.

I ran out of night before I could make it to The Ball. The last time that I was in during mid-July 2013 the place was neck-and-neck with the experience I had at The Mouses's Ear.

OVERALL.

The Knoxville Strip Club scene is a dying breed. The deterioration has been occurring for quite some time and it's almost to the point where the final nail will be put into the coffin. I talked to a few girls at each club about bar fees and dance taxes and they are claiming to look for "real jobs". Hooters is reaping the benefits of many of them and I'm sure that some of you have made them your favorite UTR. I'm just letting you know if you don't get out much and decide to go to a Knoxville Strip Club, you may suffer a bit of depression while in there. As always, YMMV.

Hey guys,

After being disappointed at my old places lately, I tried MTM a week or two ago. Had a really good time, a great dancer, I think she went by Peaches, did a really great VIP. No nudity on stage, but VIP couches are a little secluded. I won't share too much but to say that it was very good, maybe the best VIP dance I've had in a club. Went again last night. It was a bit busier. Was met by a girl going by Jewel if I remember correctly. She was cute, maybe more tattoos than I like, but whatev I'er. I was considering asking if takeout was on the menu. After she promised me the best possible dance in the place, I thought I'd try her out. Still decent, but definitely nowhere near the quality of Peaches. I didn't like the suggested tip or the constant talk about how she doesn't make much money. (protip: If a girl promises the best dance, she's wrong. I know this, but was thinking with the wrong head.)

All in all, avoid Jewel and your time will be well spent at MTM .5 buck cover is a plus as well.

Ok, I may not understand the logic, but why do these women waste their time stripping? I mean as the previous posts suggests that these girls only make chump change every time they work. I mean this isn't Atlanta. The rich and famous isn't coming to the Ball on Alcoa Hwy?

There is a dancer at the Ball that texts me all the time wanting me to take her to dinner for $350. 00 Sorry, but that is terribly rediculous, I guess I could get dessert with that take out, but she is a little too ghetto for my taste, nice slim blond, but personality reeks to high heaven.

Actually Bailey has worked at all of the clubs. Mouse's Ear for several years, then The Emerald for a couple of weeks, Th Katch for a couple of months, then the Ball. She is currently working at The Ball. She's a thick chick now, nice assets, dark brown hair, about 5'4", and can really work the pole. If you haven't seen her, she's worth a trip to The Ball. Always good to be able to survey the buffet before making a selection. With BP and even a few recommended here, been surprised how different the one looks when the door opens. Have laughed when the review said

Pics accurate" way too many times. Too often the pic or description was 40 pounds, two kids and a boat load of hard living / drugs ago.

I totally agree that ones a few months ago that would say "I would never do that". On the menu now. I have seen quite a number of them out in the local watering holes looking for business.

Hard economic times. Many making only $10-20 a night above bar fee (if that).

Its a buyers market. Play safe all.

Looks as listed. Would say the likelihood of takeout goes from the bottom up. Farthest down most likely to find it. Theres a few in ear that look good and will do takeout but I know its due to drug problems.

I hear on the watering holes a rich dude took one of the most popular at the ear traveling. Didn't get didly after thousands. So if you wanta look and not touch. The listing IMO is perfectly correct and statement that more popular the less likely to do take pretty good assumption.

This is a mix of attractiveness of the girls, club vibe, and bang for your buck. I make my rounds every week. The opportunity for takeout may be inversely proportional to the amount of money they get to haul out just by dancing.
