Hey folks. It's been a minute since I've been to the ME, but have some time this week so may go. The most memorable dancers from when I was there the last few times were Riley and Sapphire. Anybody know if they're still there? I'm sure I'll find out for myself when I head out, but am always curious if I'll see a familiar face. Thanks, and stay safe everyone!

I wasted a lot of money in that place for nothing back in the day; there used to be some decent looking girls in there, but the last few times I ever went in there in quality had went way down. I never cared much for the DJ she was very rude.

Interesting that it sounds as if ME cover fluctuates. When tinker bell took over managing the cover went down to $16. To hear that it is back up to $26 is discouraging.

Emerald was $12 last time I went back in August. It was hit or miss on whether dude was checking VIP or not, but he would mostly be checking in.

I'm heading to Knoxville this weekend and I was curious about the $26 cover so I emailed ME and asked about the cover. For 21+ it is $16 except after 9 pm on Friday and Saturday when they raise the cover to $26. Needless to say if I go Saturday it will be before 9 pm.

Been hitting the ATL clubs regularly since June 2022 when things eased up a bit on the COVID front. Our experiences are about the same, definitely not like it was .,.,.,., actually a shadow of the former strip club scene in ATL.

Since Follies shut down, that void hasn't been filled. Reminiscing about Follies always puts a smile on my face. Remember walking into the restroom and there was a long line at one stall going out into the club. It wasn't to use the pisser, it was because some drunk gal was in there giving BBBJs and dudes were leaving the money with the bathroom attendant. That was wild!

Refugees from Follies fled to Vivide for the most part and a few went to Diamond.

Clubs full of Cubans and quite a few Dominicans too. I have never seen so many bad BBLs in my life. Saw an Asian woman with a BBL, a tiny thing, her BBL was so large she couldn't get to her "osshole" like she needed to because the cheeks were squeezed together on that little frame. Russians run those clubs. Go to Diamond to fill any need for decadence. It's a smaller club, but the VIP is run like a well-lubed machine.

I discovered Follies when I was about 23. Talk about ruining your expectations for strip clubs permanently. Nothing can really measure up. More attractive.women in other clubs, sure-but being able to walk into a club and KNOWING you were getting laid was a trip. Never saw girls giving head in the restrooms. Funniest thing I ever saw there was that for a brief period, they had identical twins working there (Latin origin-dunno specifics). One of the sisters picked up a guy and took him to the back. Her sister went back a few minutes later with another guy.

No big deal right? Next thing you know, both guys come out of the back throwing down on each other. Turns out, one of the guys had looked up while getting his knob polished and saw the twin of the girl riding some other guy. He was convinced the guy had stolen "his girl" and started swinging. Willd wild west man.

I have seen some of the reports about Doamond on the Atlanta board. Always surprised me to be honest. I lived like 1/2 mile away from that place for almost a decade. Went there twice. At the time, it had the reputation of no extras to be had in addition they loved to jam extra charges on your credit card if you opened a tab. There used to be a sports bar called Dirty Als kind of across the parking lot where I used to hang so my handful of Diamond visits usually came after being overserved at the sports bar.

If memory serves, this is at least the second iteration of Diamond. They closed it sometime in the mid-90's and opened up a gay strip club there. I think that lasted a year or two and then it was back to Diamond.

Been twice this year and it's not what it was. Follies is gone now which sucks. It was like a one stop shop of decadence.

The Cubans are starting to invade there now it seems. Had my battles with them before LOL.

$26 per person cover? I haven't been to a club since the pandemic shutdown, but that is almost 3 times the prepandemic cost. Has the emerald raised theirs as well? Also, are the bouncers at the emerald still turning a little bit of a blind eye to the VIP room there?

Not just The Treasure Club which isn't a strip club, but any club that's merely a bikini bar (e.g., MTM's in Powell, TN) . ,. ,. , it's not a strip club unless they strip to nakedness. As it's been mentioned quite a bit.,., Atlanta has some strip clubs that are a must see. YMMV.

Yes, that is true, but there are no fully nude clubs on that side of the mountain, or not in Asheville anyway, there may be some in the larger cities in NC, but I don't no. However, it is an awesome club compared to the Ball which was where I was use to going; if you get there before 6 there is no cover charge and the couch dances are $25 and they have private rooms and the bouncers aren't breathing down your neck either.

No Marketing: they haven't had their grand-reopening yet as this is considered a "soft opening" (as ALL of us are fond of soft openings). The website link in Google for the same address still points to the defunct The Ball. No social media presence of note and the website is generic (hovering over a pic has "sexy woman dancing on stage in smokey lighting".

Admission: cost over 30 bucks to enter for two beers and a small bottle of liquor.

Growing Pains: seems like inexperienced management as even the little things have not been handled properly. What used to be Jolly's is being renovated a real sports bar, but word is that they haven't been granted a liquor license yet. Word is that the gals are getting fined for the most trivial infractions, so that may increase the level of friction and force the girls to go elsewhere in due time.

Security: security personnel were prominent but not overbearing. Was told that all working security are licensed to do so (whatever that entails).

Dancers: seems like most are recycles or retreads from other places, who used to actually work at The Ball. Familiar faces, but as we all know. ,. , they're not getting any younger. Plenty of chubby chics and a few with just bad bodies (not meeting those pandemic fitness goals for sure). You will find at least one pregnant dancer (guaranteed! But that's the case most clubs (you'd expect more from a place re-branding itself as new). If you're looking for tall, traditionally hot stripper types, I didn't see any on the nights that I visited.

Bar staff: when the best part about a strip club is the bar staff and not necessarily the dancers, something's out of balance. Bar staff were personable, prompt, decisive, funny, and knew the meaning of effective customer service. They'll take good care of you.

DJ: did a superb job and didn't try to make the club about him. Excellent mix of music. It's not his decision on whether there are stage dances or not, he just plays the music.

Overall: The atmosphere hasn't been great during my visits during their first week, but I'd still give it a chance. The place had spurts of bursting at the seams and then completely empty way too much. I'll let them work out the kinks, but I'm not sure I'll let them do that with my dime. Go in with low expectations and you won't be disappointed,. , at least until they get all aspects of the reopening worked out. As always, YMMV.

Went by Saturday. Parking lot was big, well lit. $15 to get in. No touch rule mentioned a lot. Club is actually not to bad looking. Big stage 3 poles. Plenty of seating. All nude, no alcohol sold. I think it is next door.

Girls were 4's to 8's. Skinny, short, tall, chubby, etc. Nobody downright ugly or drop dead gorgeous. About 10 were there around 7 pm, more come in later.

They still hand out $2 bills for change. I guess they think it gives the stage dancers more tips. Do the math and you will be ok.

The 2 girls that talked to me were friendly and did not pressure me for VIP or Private dance. They are $40 (sometimes 2 for 1) $60 for private. Still no touch so I don't know the benefit of the private dance. There are more expensive Private dances for more time and for couples.

I got a VIP from a cute little spinner called Alexis. Good show but no two way touch.

The good thing was the bouncers were not all over me reminding me of the no touch rule like last time.

Otherwise an ok place to hang out and talk, see some pretty naked girls but that is it.

This is my second visit in a month. The first one was recon only. Told TUSCL and they added the listing. Bought some mags. The second visit was to experience what they have.

It is on 75 North towards Kentucky. Near Caryville and Pioneer TN. 35 minutes north of Knoxville. Ironically, there is a large white cross near it.

It is a non traditional club / store. Large building. When you come in the front door the counter is straight in front and to the back. The front room is full of toys and costumes.

To the right are the DVDs and magazines.

To the right and on the back side are the activity rooms.

They have about 3 rooms for peep shows. Then a massage room. Then a stage and couch at the very back. Too many price options to list here. Lingerie, topless, and fully nude.

The peep show is a small room with a large glass to view the dancer. $80.2 songs. Pole dance. Fully nude at that price. Paper towels available. Did not use them. The girl was average, curvy, with a cottage cheese butt. No judgement, just the facts. They have other dancers but not that day..

Excellent review o AW. I will add the massage room and dance stage both have several cameras. Can't even do mutual touch in massage and all undergarments stay on. There are no extras to be had from the staff. I have heard they have a large theater type room with porn playing that occasionally has couples looking to share.

Decided to go The Mouse's Ear on a whim. Never made it into the club and simply walked away after some odd interactions.

Mouse's ear came recommended to me and I decided to try it out last week. I parked and observed a few patrons to see what kind of crowd this place brings. Definitely not a crowd of people I want to be around while trying to have fun. Lots of 130 lb Patagonia wearing UT, uhhh. "men" - the Subaru driver type. Got a good look at an uptight bouncer and possibly a female manager and decided against trying it out at all.

I would laughed at them had they told me $26 for entry that is truly fucking insane.

Had an out-of-town gal from SA fly in for the weekend. Decided to go The Mouse's Ear on a whim. Never made it into the club and simply walked away after some odd interactions. The dude manning the door was a bit overzealous. Stood between me and my lady friend as we were grabbing IDs, so I nudged his chest with my elbow and he stepped back. Door girl said 26 bucks each to enter plus charge for BYOB. I don't drink out of bottles or cans in a club, so I always bring my own copper cups. They refused to allow me to bring in the cups even after I offered to pay to bring in the cup, as a surcharge, just like the beer. Mentioned that I wouldn't bring in the alcohol unless I could drink out of my own cups. Exited without entering the club. The Mouse's Ear lost out on at last a grand over a 5 dollar surcharge. I doubt I will ever go back there, I already didn't like aspects related to new management, but this solidified that I should never go there again. YMMV.

Went to The Emerald instead. Had a great time, especially with Raquel. Noticed that the VIP is now set up like church pews. Not ideal, but can fit more back there. The Emerald is not as rachet as it used to be. YMMV.
