Underage sting
The same thing happened in Athens about a year ago.
They posted an ad with a picture that didn't really reveal age. I texted, and they came back and said they were 16, so I ended it there. Evidently a few others took it farther and made the news.

The Oak Ridge sting
Like the guys I know on this site, I want all underage sex business activity to stop. Put the guys in jail, protect the children and leave consenting adults alone.
But I replied to the ad yesterday and exchanged a few messages with the cop until he said he and his girlfriend were 16. It was so obviously a sting. The messages were so transparent. I want all of those guys in jail, but I must say this: anyone who fell for that messaging yesterday is not only a sicko, they are fucking stupid.

What I am wondering is if at some point the TBI had the decoy say they were underage, and the guy went for it anyhow. In case no one remembers, the billionaire owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, was busted by the pigs for visiting an Asian jackoff parlor in Florida back in early 2019. He plead not guilty. It turns out the pigs illegally barged into the place, installed some cameras, and used blackmail to get video evidence of guys just trying to get a handy. This evidence was not allowed to be introduced for prosecution, so the the dropped all charges once it became apparent they had no case.

Of Age Pros are not on the radar
They're not going after the pro's, they're going after the sicko's that are going after minors.
I dont think the pros are entirely exempt from attention but the risk is low. Follow the basic rules of mongering and you'll be fine.
