Posts: 1355Documentary: 21st Century Brothels
You can go to your favorite video sharing site and look for the show:
"This Is Life With Lisa Ling. Season 3 Episode 4. 21st Century Brothels". Lisa Ling speaks to the women who make a living at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, the most famous legal brothel in America.
I was a big fan of Cathouse documentary about the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in the early 2000's.
I wanted to note some of the math that takes place. They have to get a license from the sheriff's department in which she has to divulge every tattoo, court or child support issues, or any run in with the law from her past (76 fee); a monthly fee for weekly medical checkups (330 fee); daily room and board; and 50% of all income goes to the house. One Bunny mentioned that if she really didn't want to do a party with a particular monger, she'd price it ridiculously high in the hopes that the guy will reject it. That's her reject no potential clients policy.
One of the top grossing earners was 39 years old. She has 2-5 repeat clients per month, doesn't do the lineup but works by appointment only (she has the guy show up at the brother), and has made it a career since she couldn't get steady work as a Surgical Technician.
The girls have to submit a time card each day which includes their "parties" and deducts their expenses. For example, one Bunny charged 500 per half hour. The house immediately gets 50% off of the top, so she's at 250. After deducting room and board, she gets to keep 92 for the half hour party. Out of her 1000 per hour fee, she'd get to keep 184 which is 18.4% of what she charges (81.6% eaten up in fees). That's some serious markup, but the house does provide safety, security, handles payment, provides a room, and other amenities. Further illustrating that the money that is made, even at the legal spots, cover's the girls' expenses and not much else.
Happy Hunting,
Milfman.

MilfMan,
Good post. I have ALWAYS advocated that we can play legally and have given procedures how. The law is very gray, until a person make it black and white. Comes down to money and revenues. More revenues with felonies, especially at the federal level. Play within the boundaries, and the boundaries stretch, boys.
Bluford.

So much for that fictitious LEO check. The fees collected are always a boom for the city.

Seattle police set up massage parlor in sex-sting operation, arrest 204 men -
In the first sting operation of its kind for the Seattle Police Departments Vice & High Risk Victims Unit, detectives set up shop in a massage parlor they had shut down in the spring. They never expected the volume of business they got from men seeking sex.
