Totally agree. I use a TracFone and have an alias Snapchat. I ask them for a quick video verification before meeting and if they refuse then it's a no go for me.

CPD then received another anonymous tip regarding prostitution activity at the Lucky Spa on Savannah Highway and found that illicit services were also being offered and sold at that business.

The owner of Lucky Spa, 41-year-old Deleted by Admin of West Ashley, was arrested on June 26 and charged with one count of prostitution for operating a brothel.

"An investigative commitment such as this is a powerful example of how capable our detectives are at completing complicated investigations," CPD Captain Andre Jenkins said. Do you suppose this guy had any pictures saved from "Johns" who contacted him thinking he was a provider but felt safe sending a photo as they were using an alias and calling from a throw-away phone? You know darn well that Uncle LEO went through this guy's phone with a fine tooth comb and saved the information for posterity.

I highly advise not sending your photo to anyone you do not know.

I am not sure the legalities, but I am not sure what, if anything would prevent the Police from using random photos of escorts they find on the internet. Hell with all the advances in artificial intelligence, the police might generate a photo of a girl that doesn't exist as bait. I always use a fake name, keep my cell on silent so if the cops call it while at location it does not Ring, , too prevent giving them reasonable suspicion to stop me. I usually only meet at very high foot traffic areas, quick trip, Wal-Mart, cvs during day. . if you to meet at a waffle house at 3 am, it's not hard to stick out and minium get some face time with uncle. In the past I have done incalls at 1 star hotels, Mobile homes off the beaten path at midnight with out state plates (that's a red flag) and picked up a chick at a cabin deep in the woods on a very narrow dirt path. Looking back on these adventures, I realize I was completely vulnerable to getting caught, I had no even slightly plausible reason to be where I was. The only place I feel slightly less concerned about uncle, currently, is Asheville, the police department has been gutted because the citizens went woke, there was a mass exit of officers and they per the news, can't hire for shit. And with the number of shootings in the city, picking off dudes mongering isn't a priority. Remain vigilant.

The article doesn't say anything about the police identifying him with a photo. He and the person he was texting with had to set up some way to find each other, so I'm sure he would still be screwed even if he didn't send a photo.
