Rants, Raves and Stupid shit in Charleston

Yes for the locals that's absolutely true.

When people say "Charleston" it gives you a visual of old money, downtown and a lot of marshes that people seem to enjoy staring at.

These girls that come from North Charleston, Goose Creek, And other parts of Berkeley county and beyond are not the same girls you see roaming King St. The surrounding areas of Charleston are poverty-stricken, so you get everything that comes with that.

As far as traveling girls, we get a decent handful every now and then but this is no way or shape a destination for traveling girls who take care of themselves and aren't trailer park junkies. Like someone else said, it's population and isolation geographically.

The girls roaming King Street are all out of town big city girls going to College of Charleston and hoping to marry some young doctor. Don't forget that there are some decent girls in all areas of town but they are few. It's the worst place I have ever been in the hobby. Just not big enough to have anonymity.

Big factor here is how they get into it.

In charleston its almost always demons / drug / entourage they run w that get them into it or force / groom them into it till they end up as bad reports here years later having become just grimy or completely eroded out.

There are less then 5 in the area who have been around 5+ years I can say personally are at all still viable or worth it I've run across.

Between the gang / crime / drug problem tho charleston is severely afflicted w generally gen after gen of bad choices and ones who are in it too long for the wrong reasons still if not worse ones.

I definitely think geography is a contributing factor.

We are isolated and don't even have a major interstate that runs through us. We are a final destination on I-26 and a final destination airport as well.

Couple that with the lack of clientele and you get a black hole for providers.

If nothing else, Charleston is a really interesting case study for sure. My best guess is that location plays a big part. We aren't especially close to any actual major cities. A lot of these women seem to want to bounce from city to city pretty easily on tour. Connecting flights and 4 hour drives to big cities might complicate matters more than they care for.

I have lived in both much larger and much smaller cities than Charleston. I've seen much smaller cites with some fine newer providers. I am just baffled that most of our talent is older and been in the game for so long. Ten or fifteen years ago, there were a lot of new girls popping up, not so much anymore.

If nothing else, Charleston is a really interesting case study for sure. My best guess is that location plays a big part. We aren't especially close to any actual major cities. Not sure if people are still having issues when not on WiFi. But using duck duck go browser eliminates issues. At least for me it eliminated access issues.

Charleston isn't exactly a world class city, it's just packaged as one. This isn't a dig either, I like it here but anyone who lives here more than a few years knows it's vastly overrated.

Plus, we have an over-abundance of females here, of all ages. So guys, especially those with some discretionary income, don't NEED to turn to the hobby here.

The other thing is strictly a population thing, this isn't huge metro area with millions of people. The cities nearby that fit that get all the good talent. We get some crumbs here and there but it only seems like a small handful of higher end girls come back after one visit.

Bottom feeders are a dime a dozen any and everywhere.

I believe the lack of quality customers fuels the lack of quality talent.

Which drives up the price when there is little competition.

But what do I know.

Atlanta is something like 10 the size of charleston so that's pretty significant. Means you are going to be able to find what you are looking for (both ways). That said, I feel Charleston is. OK. I have certainly found much worse markets in similar sized cities. I do have to agree that prices here are quite high. If men pay it, the girls will expect for it. Maybe a cost of living demands it but that sunshine tax effects some industries more than others.

Spent some decent time in Madison Wisconsin (without a car). That place, even with the University, makes Charleston look like Atlanta. I was looking on Seeking, STG and Escort alligator. Thankfully the hotel had good lotion. LOL.

I've seen plenty of you guys frustrated about inflation and how the local scene has gone to shit in terms of quality. . I don't know that I ever truly understood how bad it is until recently. I've spent some time in Atl and checking out the scene there. Few observations.

1. So many choices. At some level I expect this just based on the difference in size between the cities alone. But wow. Quality seems much higher in Atl. Of course there are folks that are just bad everywhere, but I would estimate that percentage wise there's greater quality in Atl also.

2. Pricing. It doesn't matter what level we are taking. STG / list level chicks or a bit higher end. Baffled at the fact that prices are significantly lower in Atl than they are here. Competition reduces costs, I get it. But we are getting royally screwed.

Some of you will simply react to this with a "no shit Sherlock" and that's fine, but I'm baffled. For a "world class city" like Charleston we don't have shit in the grand scheme of things. I've only been around the game a few years and this is eye opening.

This was addressed recently in General Reports. I posted about the same thing and another member replied:

On iPhone go to your cloud settings and turn on your private relay. That will fix the problem. Don't know if androids have the same option.

It worked for me.
