Its called statute 265 section 50 google it. Its been on the books since 2011,The DA got a $270,000 grant to fight sex trafficikng and I guess they are not getting enough guys trafficking minors or pimping so they have expanded the net to include any sex offences read the statute, to justify the grant money. Plymouth county is very large it includes many cities and towns, seems to be the only one doing this, if they can make it stick others will follow monkey see monkey do, I have posted on other local areas on this site, I am related to one of these guys, its no joke, He has a public defender a real lawyer for this is $30,000 and up. That sucks for him, but the really concerning part here is that walking into a sting for trying to hire a prostitute now results in a felony charge in MA? They're really stretching the definition of "trafficking" now.

Yup, I seriously doubt she or the boyfriend will get bail at all. The conspiracy charges sometimes give more Time than the actual crime. Guess we will know on the 16th for the bail hearing.

I would hope the majority of police officers are well intentioned & they certainly have a tough job, but the whole system needs an overhaul.

I'm all for video but it's beyond time that local, state, & federal law enforcement stop investigating criminal charges against their own & have the local DA present those charges to a grand jury, to me that's a huge conflict of interest.

I'd like too see outside civil agencies investigate criminal charges against LEO & present those charges to a grand jury, those agencies would not be accountable to local state or federal officials other than to work within the confines of the law.

I know this will never happen but it would go a long way in easing the tension people are feeling towards LE & vise versa.

They are losers who must hide behind their badges and their guns so that they can intimidate anyone they want, wherever and whenever they want, without just cause. No cajones whatsoever.
