Still not sure how I feel about this trip.

I made an appointment and showed up precisely on time. Was met by a woman probably in her 30's, very cute and attractive. I never got her name. She brought me up to the room and told me. 45 for HH. I asked how much for an hour and she said. 6. I gave her house fee for an hour. I think in the future I'll just go with HH.

First though a note about the location: It's a house with parking in the back. Very easy to deal with and away from prying eyes. The interior was extremely well kept. Very clean and comfortable. The room I was in only had a curtain but there was no other rooms adjacent where privacy was an issue.

I wasn't offered a shower and I didn't see any evidence that there was one available.

So, she tells me to take off my clothes and lay on the table. Massage was nice. I'm really finding that I want the massage to go 55 minutes, then the extras, then relax for 4 and a half minutes.

About 30 minutes into it, as my ass was hanging out, another masseuse walks in and they're chatting with each other. I didn't mind but I could see where someone else would be put off by people coming in. Then, I feel the second masseuse pulling off the towel and as I roll over, they are asking if I want the both of them. I should point out, the communication was extremely difficult so most of the talking was in hand gestures, I guess the "hand job" hand gesture is universal.

This is where I was thrown. I wasn't prepared for this and so I couldn't figure out where to start with the negotiation. I also wasn't entirely sure what they were offering. Was I going to get FS with both? Anyway, I screwed up and offered 1. 5, which is what I was prepared to offer for FS for one of them. They smelled the blood in the water and got another. 2 out of me.

So, the younger one, Kiki who said she was 26 and was absolutely beautiful, got completely naked and the first one took off her shirt. Kiki rubbed her boobs on me and said "honey honey honey" a bunch of times, you know, as most women do when horny. Now, I'm also noticing a trick I think. Thanks Shampoo. This was something I read early on and it made complete sense to me. Most of it is pretty common sense but is easily overlooked when our minds are on other things.

My interpretation of that is that it's just another way for them to signal to you that they can be your girlfriend for the hour if you're interested. I have never had that happen to me at a place that doesn't offer FS.

Thanks for the welcome! Also, thanks for identifying the market rates, I've been reading through these posts very diligently and it seems the numbers are all over the place. I'm definitely getting more comfortable is discussing the rate with the therapist and not willing to be so eager to just pay whatever. Hell, the first time I think I would have gone to the ATM (automated teller machine just to be clear) if she asked for more.

Tip 1, yes. This is true in any type of negotiation. The first party to say a number is at a disadvantage. I don't do this, or plan to do this, so frequently that saving. 2 is going to hurt but I do get that I have fellow customers who will be affected by it so I'll do my part to keep the fee reasonable.

Tip 2, Exactly. This is why I don't think I'll return to the first place I went for a while. I significantly over paid and I know it will be expected.

Use the search feature and read them, they will help you continue to have an enjoyable time no matter where you may choose to patronize.

You paid a bit more than market. Lately, in the suburbs, we've been experiencing ongoing inflation in rates. What used to be a pretty reliable $60 house fee and $100 tip has now gone up as high as $70/$160 in some establishments. Everything is going up and it's not unreasonable for these businesses to raise prices commensurate with how the rest of the economy is moving.

I checked out Green Spa. Made an appointment and showed up at the exact time as expected. I was the only one there.

I met Bella. Thick but proportional Korean, I'm guessing in her 20's. She was wearing a sexy black short dress. Definitely my type so I was excited when she walked in.

She took me to the TS to start. On the flip she asked if it was ok to touch the little fella and I didn't want to be rude so I said sure. Did a few strokes and soon after wrapped up the TS and went back to the room for the massage.

But things have been calming down lately in the economy and the general consensus amongst us customers is that prices are already above where they should be and could stand to come down a notch or two.

Some people will allude to your willingness to pay the rates you reported as "being part of the problem" and that's not what I'm saying here. Just that with some more research, due diligence and willingness to walk if they won't come down in price you can stretch your personal dollars further by paying a bit less in future sessions.

Some tips:

1. Do everything you can to let the therapist make the first offer for services you suggest. At many places, with many therapists, your first offer is going to be seen as a floor and they're going to try to negotiate you up from there. Starting with an offer that's above market (market is between $130 and $140 in the suburbs for those services) will further identify you as a relative novice and someone who can be pushed to pay a bit more than the more seasoned customer.

2. What you are willing to pay the first time is going to set your personal floor with that therapist in that spa as they are likely to remember what you were willing to pay the last time. It doesn't mean you can't offer less or be a tougher negotiator next time, but therapists are people also and they're going to be reluctant to take less for the same service the second time around.

3. Bring exact change. Separate the house fee from what you are willing to pay for additional services in two different pockets and put a small number of additional small bills into a third pocket in case you can't successfully negotiate your desired rate and you still want to buy the services.
