Does this come as so much a surprise as the author thought? As a young man, I did not monger for long periods when I had a civilian girl friend. Now, my contemporaries are old ladies, lacking the instantaneous attractiveness of younger SGs, and, moreover, mostly uninterested in sex when their hormones no longer function. I am almost disappointed, how typical I am of the unmarried survey subjects.

A naked woman was found stabbed to death and covered in blood on a sidewalk in Kensington overnight.

Around 11:20 pm Saturday night, police responded to a radio call of a "person screaming" to discover the deceased body of a 35-year-old woman laying on the sidewalk.

"She was bloody from head-to-toe and completely naked," Captain Robert Ritchie told reporters at the scene.

Police believe the stabbing took place in an alley near the corner of Jasper and East Cumberland Street, and said the victim was stabbed once in the neck and fled for about a block before collapsing in the street.

The victim, who remains unidentified so police can notify her family, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made, and police hope footage from surrounding surveillance cameras can offer a clear glimpse of the killer.

There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction.

I picked up tall Chrissy on Tuesday morning for a quick BBBJ (and as reviewed elsewhere on the site, she is great) and she told me about what's been going on, actually took me past Jasper and Cumberland where the police crime scene tape was still up. According to her, this is the 4th victim, and the second to be fatally injured. Another victim, still breathing out of a tracheotomy tube, shared her experience with Chrissy. In short, the assailant in question is an African American male, described as short to medium height. He approaches the girls on foot, says he has a safe place to go, but usually takes them to an alley or somewhere else just off the street. His pitch is that he doesn't want them to do a BJ or FS, he wants to go down on them from the back. At that point, with their backs turned, he tries to slash their throat. According to Chrissy, the attack at Jasper and Cumberland occurred the night before (Monday the 18th) so I'm not sure if there's been another attack or she just got the time frame wrong, but she said that the victim here who was killed also had her face smashed in pretty badly, and that the other girl who died had been mutilated (I'll spare the details). This is not the first serial killer we've seen on the streets of Kensington, and hopefully he'll be apprehended soon. These girls have it hard enough without a complete psycho piece of shit taking out his mommy issues on them. Hope he rots in hell.

When I posted that link, I was not endorsing the Swedish plan, just sharing. I also want to share my experience (far from current to be sure) with legalization. In Europe, being a "legal" prostitute involves registering and having the status show in her / his identity documents. That is no better than having a misdemeanor rap sheet. In European cities, I quickly learned how to find high caliber "illegal" providers, protecting their privacy as they should be able. If anyone knows of a legalization regime where the confidentiality or anonymity of the registrant is meaningfully protected, I would like to know.

The piece of the Swedish plan that puts a stop to the pointless prosecution of providers is a step forward. The question is whether or not as to mongers, it just keeps the status quo, or else can become a "warlock hunt. " 'Just sayin. '.

That's a mouth full. Legalization is the way to go. If only more people (especially guys) had the balls to stand-up for legalization. There are probably a lot of us in agreement. The stigmatism is such that few are willing to speak out in public.

Er, we already have a significant part of the population convinced that all males are predators and that we live in an out of control "rape culture." Just what we need is more regulation that institutionalizes that kind of group think, gender bias and discrimination. And that kind of thinking seems to be the driver to the Swedish law:

Sweden's unique strategy treats prostitution as a form of violence against women in which the men who exploit by buying sex are criminalized, the mostly female prostitutes are treated as victims who need help, and the public is educated in order to counteract the historical male bias that has long stultified thinking on prostitution.

Now don't get me wrong. Dudes who rape, beat or abuse should be dealt with. Also think we should get science based treatment systems for addicts in place and get away from this 20% success rate of the 12 Step approach. Yes, those girls are exploited. But all men aren't bad, rapists, exploiters, etc.

But prostitution should be legalized not outlawed. If regulating it doesn't work, as per the examples, then do we say it is bad or perhaps the regulatory system is broken and needs to be fixed? Do we see massive organized crime in the deserts of Nevada. The only jurisdiction in the USA where prostitution is legal? How about Canada. What is the experience there?

So is this more of the same "agenda" to criminalized and marginalize being male, all wrapped in the cloak of fixing social wrongs and past injustices?

Yes it is wrong to be with pros. Many are very damaged people boarding on suicide. Almost all are mental defects. Me as an individual with a pro for 20 minutes is just a short stop of the pros journey in life. None have shame and / or treat it as a lifestyle. Point is it is not right to be with a pros; but if you look at life in general almost all activities are wrong in general. I am not a saint and everybody draws the line somewhere. It's a choice somewhat depending on the person or pros.

Having been an EMT since 1977, and a Paramedic since 1982, this sickens me. First, should someone reading this view a similar circumstance, PLEASE, IF NOTHING ELSE, OPEN THEIR AIRWAY BY HYPEREXTENDING THE JAW, and if possible turn them on their side to help prevent their aspirating vomitus.

The State of New Jersey has recently enacted a law called "The Overdose Prevention Act", which allows for the administration of Narcan (Naloxone) by Police, EMT's, and other "non-healthcare providers". Narcan, Naloxone reverses respiratory depression in cases of (most) opiate and opioid overdose, and is responsible for saving thousands of lives each day. The sooner Narcan is administered in the timeline / progression of the overdose, the better the outcome.

Please, those who live in Pennsylvania and Delaware, write to your legislators, and ask them to enact similar legislation.
