Oh, I agree completely. Getting good at it, but some spammers are improving.

I get a lot of the cyber hookers and sluts that would all love for me to part with what little bit of money I have. I thought it would bring a chuckle to those that share my distaste for these robotic bozos. So I copied an email and my response to "her" and I'm sharing it with you. Please enjoy.

Ahhhh you want to talk about the weather. The weather here for the most part is nice. It's a time when we put on the shorts and flip flops and stroll the streets of Mexico. You ever been to Mexico? Then when you try to shower and the water hits the caked on dog shit it splashes all over the shower. Unless you are in one of them outdoor showers. If not then you need to really clean the shower. If you don't that dog shit smells like, well shit in a short time. So those dreams of tequila and nachos just turned into Mr Clean and Comet cleanser. Not a very erotic night.

Eh, CL can be a bit hinkey at times. If one expects to go on there and find a date as easily as BP they are certainly going to be disappointed. But good stuff does exist and CAN be found. I suspect using CL takes some "learning?" Many fakes and scams. Here are a few of the things I have learned.

1) Watch for posts that have some text and then a bunch of white space below it. You should see these two lines within 3-4 lines of the last line of the written post: (italics added for emphasis)

If you do NOT see that, then scroll down and see that there is more text, often a series of other short "posts" some often referring to MSM! But clearly someone using a robot to post or an app that adds that "extra" text. I have NEVER gotten a date from a post like that, not even a reply that seems like it is from a girl serious in meeting.

When you see this, flag the post (I. E. Hit the blue hyper-linked text "prohibited") and DO NOT REPLY TO THE POST. Don't waste your time, I don't care how hot the picture is or how enticing the text, even if they are offering "anal" or something.

2) If a post does not have an age or location it is most likely fake. Spammers usually won't take the time to fill out the "details. " So that is an indication. Along with this, with no age how do you know you fit what they are looking for? Maybe it is an older woman in her 50's who doesn't want to play with younger guys or a younger girl who doesn't like older guys? Why waste your time on low probability posts? Same goes for location. No location or just "Philly" is usually a dead give away. Anyone who doesn't know what neighborhood of Philadelphia they live in and can't post that is a long shot. What if you are in DelCo and the girl ends up being in Horsham or Bensalem? You think she's gunna come visit you? You willing to drive 40+ minutes to meet? So the point is no location, no age, is usually a spammer.

3) OK, so you find a post that has the appropriate "footer" and has a neighborhood listed with an age. Looks good so far. Now look for telephone numbers or email addresses in the post! Any woman who has "dated" before has run across creeps or stalkers and is usually smart enough to NOT list her real phone number in public. Plus anyone with some decency doesn't want her friends and family to see she looking for dates. So those posts are suspect to start with. Now, that said not all are fakes, but most probably are. So IF you are going to text someone for G*d's sake don't use you regular phone number. Use a burner number or a GV number. Same goes for direct email contact with an email in an advert. You want the scammers to have your regular email address and blow up your inbox with spam? Get a fake email address. I have one that I use when I think a post is sketchy and have used it to contact maybe a half-dozen such adds / posts. NONE ever ended up with a date as 100% were spammers. So now a spammer or several has that email address and that inbox gets on average 50 spam messages a day! You want that in your inbox or regular email?

4) Same kind of advice goes for a FIRST reply to your CL post or to your reply to their post. Any first reply with an email address is going to turn out to be a spammer. Make sure you "flag" these replies. Find the blue hyper-link text below the "Please flag unwanted messages (spam, scam, other):" at the bottom of the message. Click that and select spam when the pop-up window opens. Then delete the email message and move on. Also note that any reply that does not have that hyper-linked text is a spammer also!

5) Look at the pictures in the post! Get your eye "trained" to spot TGTBT pictures and fakes. One can and should use Tineye or Google images to search photos until one's eye is "trained". Also it isn't a bad idea on something that is boarder line. Use to be that stock porn star pics were used, pics that got your instantly hard. Now they often use pics like that and either crop them or use some kind of editing software to "blur" the image. With some experience one can learn to tell the difference. Point is to spot the fakes and avoid wasting time & energy responding.

6) When replying: You need to compliment the girl and sell yourself a bit. Recognize that any girl who puts a post up on CL gets up to 200 replies in an hour! Most aren't capable of handling this level of response. So one needs to do something to stand out from the idiots. There will be a bunch that get all upset that she is P4P and stalk her because of it. Others that just want to j*ckoff as they email a girl. Others that have no intention of meeting, etc. Now I'm not saying to write a novel, but write more than 140 characters and write something that could interest the girl in meeting you? A note to the girl that says, "Are you real?" is usually NOT going to get a reply - she gets many of these, so she soon learns to move on to the guys who present themselves better.

7) Learn to scan the posts from the bottom to the top by looking at the end of the post and finding W4M posts. Posts older than an hour usually have already gotten 200 replies and it can be a waste of time to be in line at 201st place. But by scanning the list I can get through about 100 posts in about 30-seonds. Hardly an imposition on my time, but a great scanning method.

So with some experience on can sort through the garbage on CL and focus one's efforts on the most likely prospects. Shoot I find more girls on CL than I can date. And that even after I screen out the ones with golden p*ssy syndrome (GPS) and who say no to menu items I require (bbbj)!

Now maybe some knowledgeable monger can write us some pointers on what are the key elements of a successful CL post? What are the things to say? What things should one avoid saying?

Any time I am asked for a CC number to verify who I am I always ask first if I can verify them before giving my info out. Suddenly the emails stop. The conversation ends.

I also use a bogus email address for these contacts. When they first contact me I ask one simple question. That being "What is the name of the person you are trying to contact"? They can never get that question correct as they have no idea who they want. Sometimes the simpler we keep things the safer we are. Me, I'm just an 'OL Gator.

Thanks for that explanation! Yeah, makes sense, using a CC number that isn't your own is CC fraud. I guess that is a time bomb waiting to hit you later in like kind of like the music file sharing law suits that went around several years ago?

I pretty much stop communicating with anyone who sends me an email address in a first response to a CL post or inquiry. Usually flag them too. But periodically I too have a "junk" email account and I'll reply and see if they want me to get verified.

But this one was different, something I had never seen before. So thanks for the info!

Also a good idea to ask them who they are looking for. Unfortunately my junk email has a name that gets sent with it so often they write to "Sam" already. So I think I'll use your idea of asking them to be verified first! Good idea.

Oh, I have seen the comments that NOTHING can ever be found on CL. It is a sausage fest. Not worth the effort. Blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, the other evening I looked at CL and responded to an advert that didn't look like a scammer. Sent a polite note of inquiry and started a series of emails back & forth on what was on offer. Looks like GFE can be had: dfk, BBBJ, daty, multiple positions, etc.

Asked about rates for reading me some poetry. She quoted 65 ss, 100 hhr, 150 hr, which seems reasonable for her style. But of course she might be open to discussions.
