I must say, had it not been for the drug activity in which the two people were involved in, this guy wouldn't be charged with any kind of prostitution crimes. Honestly, the police do not care of a guy let's a woman stay at his house in exchange for sex. But, When the house is being investigated for 'more than personal use' drug activity, that is when law enforcement starts charging people for every crime they can. It's just add on charges from the dirty nasty drug activity.

This report which I thankful to read, is a perfect example of two things. 1. If you are contacted by police remain silent. How would the police know the very detailed inter workings unless one or both subjects gave statements? Also on paper once the police received. These details it clearly met the legal definition to make the appropriate charges. Charges are not about convictions, it is about #'s.

Especially after a search warrant, they are instructed to make any and all appropriate charges. I am surprised they didn't get charged with down loading music and removing tag from mattress.

Amen to that brother. I find all of these stories and I follow all the court cases for the guys busted in several different areas, from Cleveland to Youngstown to other places. We can learn a lot from these stories. Despite the fact that when a bunch of mugshots are posted you can tell the guys are mostly of below average intelligence, it always pays to stay humble and learn from others mistakes, always expecting that it could happen to you. "I'd like an attorney" should the only words out of your mouth to those chumps.

Whats next? Are they going to knock on every dudes home and say "hey, your wife cooks and cleans in exchange for sexual acts, were charging you with engaging in prostitution" ? Can't see how they can make that charge out of this. The drug charges should have been all that was filed.

If they get 9 idiots that hang on the cops words it may get to trial. Never get a jury to convict that one. Sex charge will be plead out and the drug charges will net no or minimal jail time!! I'll begin by saying there is a special place in hell for predators. Now that that's out of the way. I've never understood how that works. Like you are talking to an undercover cop "pretending" to be 16 years old. Then they charge you soliciting a minor. But you didn't. You didn't actually solicit a minor at all. Doesn't really matter if they "thought" they were soliciting a minor. At the end of the day. They actually didn't solicit a minor at all. So that crime was never actually committed.

Defense attorney: so you were pretending to be 16. How old are you?

Cop on the stand: 36.

Cop on the stand: Well No. No he did not.

Was wondering why the area has been so dormant with no regular John stings lately, looks like the task force is actually going after real crime and finding scumbag traffickers instead of going after good guys looking for adult women. Looks like they also got a notorious SKG provider who has robbed guys as discussed on here as well on charges not relating to the hobby. That should put her away for a while. Its nice to see our tax dollars going to good use I must say. Hopefully they continue doing this and run no more consenting adult stings, would be in full support of them.

Agree. Youngstown and Warren are simple as far as mongering goes. I'm a former resident of the area. Cities=safe, stay out of the burbs. Do you know how long its been since the last time theyve ran a sting in the either of the cities proper? Youd have to turn the clock all the way back to April 2018, when they ran a sting in Warren as a political stunt right when backpage shut down. The cities have far bigger fish to fry and are both broke as a joke. Boardman / liberty / austintown? Never ever would I ever go there.
