Ill definitely be keeping an eye out for that ad or similar ads like it again and I'm hoping that this info has saved a few dudes from a lot of headaches.

I'm not a lawyer or anything but even a halfway decent attorney can get this type of charge dismissed. Most of the time it borders on entrapment, and guys can simply say they were "role playing" in a fantasy chat when trying to solicit an underage girl. It's been used in numerous cases successfully since the dawn of the Internet age. It's the same thing as drawing cartoons of a 40 year old guy having sex with a 16 year old girl. Might be bad taste, but nothing illegal about it.

I'm sure they did get away with some form of it but this guys not a john, hes a predator. No mercy for him. This is one of the rare situations that I would support entrapment.

You are right about them busting johns like they are saving the world, but at the end of the day justice is at least somewhat served and we have reasonable judges, johns get released at the scene and when they go into court, plea bargains to disorderly conduct. Look up the cases from the Liberty sting, about half have been closed and all have reduced charges. One of them even had the case dismissed entirely.

Doesn't matter what they call it, If this asshole showed up thinking he was going to screw a 14 year old he bought from her mother, then he deserves everyfuckingthing he gets.
