Truck Stop Reports

haven't been out hunting at the 280 truck stops since the mid 80's when i was employed as a driver. all you needed was a cb radio and a little cash. listening in to drivers and girls setting up dates used to crack me up. they would get quite graphic and a lot of the guys would just screw with the girls. sending them to other rigs where the drivers were asleep telling them to pound on the sleeper before hopping in. caution was the rule of the day as some of the girls were **** runaways looking to trade for a ride out of state. banging minors and transporting them across state lines are still "bozo no-no's".

i've gotten out there during the day on occasion over the last 15 years and have observed no hint of any lot lizards during the daylight hours. i also don't have a cb in the car. i'd be very suprised if it is still anything like it was 20-25 years ago.

I can remember that from my days on the road, hell I sent several to drivers over the years, go old days Ontario ca, ft wayne, indy used to be a ton.

The t/s at ex5 on 23 used to be great for pickin-up the girls, not anymore, been that way for a couple years now, cops got real heavy on busting them, every now and then I hear of a rolling working girl in her car, but I avoid them, never liked the idea of whoes following them.

yeah i dreamed i partaked with a few of the **** girls.

go back 25 years and a trip to a motel for the shower and these girls were really appreciative.

don't think i'd do it now.

Didn't anyone else out there partake of the young ladies that used to work around the truck stops. There were some pretty cute but inexperienced tricks out there.

I always felt a car cruising in a truck stop was too obvious and sometimes SPs assumed you were LEO so I stayed away. Once in a while I stopped for a cup of "coffee" but never found anything that way. I assumed only if you were actually in a truck would you get a knock at the door.
