The story said the police had posted a pic of the girl from the Plenty of Fish posting, but I didn't see it or a link to it in the article. If she has BP postings, it's possible the police don't know and I certainly don't know who it is. Perhaps you could post a link to the police pic they posted and a link to the BP post? I know I'd make an anonymous call to the police and not make contact with the BP girl with that info.

She used to walk the Hilltop within the past couple of years. I would typically see her walking along Hague, between Broad and Sully. Strangely enough, I used to hit that back when she was still in Chillicothe, partying and snorting pills. She was always a good time in bed. Short and a little chubby, but she's put on quite a bit of weight since then. Good for her for seeking help and starting her path towards sobriety.

Generally it is a device to find your keys, there is a special feature, I think it is called lost or something. When you go and activate that, anyone using the Tile app and has it turned on and has their location on is now looking for the Lost device. So anyone that meets those criteria within 75 or 100 ft can potentially pinpoint your location at a given time and date. It is not real time however it can put you in a very interesting situation to explain why you were in a certain area. The big question is how many people meet those criteria, how many people have the actual app have it turned on and have their location turned on.

I agree with your general concerns. However, as the attached article states, it's relatively ineffective as a true tracking / stalking device. It's not GPS, it's blue tooth, so it has to be within range.
