A vice officer in plain clothes shot & killed a female after she stabbed him in his unmarked CPD vehicle. SW? Occured in Franklinton. Story said he was working prostitution complaints. Name / pic not yet released.

My guess is that authorities just turn a blind eye to the activity until people / businesses start to complain to the point that they have to do something. I mean one of the articles said that they investigated that place for 1 year. I think 1 hrs worth of on site investigation would've been all that was needed. But I'm not LEO so I don't know what all a human trafficing investigation entails.
