That's correct. But Jersey has been a war zone for years. For the few decent residents left on that street it might be a help. Though they aren't doing streets anymore.

I think there should be checkpoints on jersey street by far the worst for decades, and prolly north Garfield. Be aware there could be drones used but there are definitely bike patrols and the police will set up a viewing scope in an abandoned house. They have done this on Xenia.

I see a followup report now indicates that Dayton has scratched the idea of blocking some east side streets and now will block off some alley in an effort to combat drug activities and prostitution:
