I don't recall the lady but took a quick look at a couple of documents in the civil lawsuit that is still ongoing in Montgomery County Court. At some point the agreement between the two for exclusive escort services soured and the businessman filed a civil lawsuit against her in 2016. In a recent ruling 9/19/2018, I see the judge ordered her to disclose her clientele list since Jan 1, 2013. The guy had sought to get the clientele list for the last 10 years but the judge only granted since 2013. One sentence from the 5-page ruling:

"Defendant is ORDERED to supplement her discovery responses to disclose her clientele list beginning on January 1, 2013, up to the filing of the case ".

I don't think this was mentioned in the news report.

As was mentioned, the possession of criminal tools law is very subjective. The Ohio code 2923.24 reads:

"No person shall possess or have under the person's control any substance, device, instrument, or article, with purpose to use it criminally".

It is a misdemeanor (M1) charge unless the tool is used in the commission of a felony, then it is an felony (F5) charge.

According to a friend of mine, if you are caught with 2 cell phones in your possession, you can be charged with possession of criminal tools. I also have a friend that was doing fence maintenance at a vacation property. He had bolt cutters in his stash of tools. He got pulled over and had a small amount of recreational illegality.
