This is really sensible advice for all of us. You don't have to answer their questions, and anything you say is just more likely to get you into trouble. They will ask to see your phone. If they do, ask them if they have a warrant. They will ask if they can look in your car. Again, ask them if they have a warrant. You need to cooperate and address their questions -- perhaps by simply saying you don't want to answer at this time without advice from a lawyer. You can ask if you're under arrest, and if the answer is no, you can leave.

Actually prosecuting a case on soliciting successfully is hard, and they're rarely going to win in court. I think they have a lot more success just using the situation to get IDs and find open warrants (which they frequently will) or probable cause to be in the room and find drugs or paraphernalia in plain sight.

As bad as providing incriminating evidence or allowing them to search without a warrant is lying, which can get you an obstructing charge. Don't lie. Just decline to answer if the answer might incriminate you.

Correct but by doing this and sending the disclaimer, you have a valid defense because it is not illegal to meet an adult and pay that adult for their time. There were posts about it on the Cleveland board, as long as you verify age and shut the F up when they detain you, you can likely walk. If it does get to court, disorderly conduct plea bargain will happen.

Even if the police can't get you on the more serious charges, they can hit you with whatever they want to. If you verify age and only say you want an hour of a woman's time for x amount of money. The prosecutor would be able to show intent if you can't prove a friendship outside of this lifestyle. It is especially easy if she has ads on multiple platforms!

The same type of disclaimer has been on every hooker ad for years. Everyone still gets arrested. Best defense if you aren't careful and get pinched is to follow your STFU advice and call a lawyer. Everyone that dabbles in this sort of fun should give a good attorney a couple of thousand bucks as a retainer and put them on your speed-dial and memorize their number, imo.
