Northern Kentucky government and justice system is corrupt as it comes. If he was charged it was because they had to. It's all about who you know in NKY and if you are in the good ole boy group you can get away with damn near anything.

I live in Cincy, so I don't have day-to-day involvement with NKY cops, etc. , and I have no first-hand knowledge of their tactics. But when I was growing up back in the '50's and '60's, the corruption was pretty rampant. When I was in high school (mid-late '60's), it wasn't unusual to read about a bar / strip club, or other business, that "suddenly" caught on fire and, somehow, they always burned to the ground. Interesting! Damn shame because those strip clubs were a LOT of fun back in those days--The Pink Pussycat, LaMadam's, The Midwestern, etc.

If you want to go back further in time, read the book "Forbidden Fruit: Sin City's Underworld and the Supper Club Inferno" which tells about the mafia's connections and activities in NKY and how they were (probably) involved--probably VERY involved--in the burning down of the Beverly Hills Supper Club and almost 200 deaths. It was written by Peter Bronson, a long-time reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, and, I should add, a GOOD reporter, unlike today's so-called reporters who can't write a simple, correct sentence.

The things he did to manipulate young women into sex was sickening, and Poole and Tim Nolan both used scare tactics, threats, and money (or lack of) to lure and manipulate the young women into sexual acts with them.
