It's not entrapment. There is a lot of misunderstanding of that concept out there. Entrapment is when an officer entices you to do something you otherwise wouldn't normally do, typically with a promise of some kind of payment or benefit. It's perfectly fine for an undercover cop to ask you anything in an encounter like that. If you are not in custody for something, they can ask anything they want and use your responses against you in court. Miranda rights do not apply unless you are under arrest or in a custodial situation.

One thing I did see in one article is they started to investigate this when they received another complaint about trafficking at another South Miami AMP. One can only assume that was Rose.
