IMO this is overkill and over thinking the entire thing. He wore underwear to the massage which I believe is the cause of the entire problem. Next time don't wear anything, which is exactly what I did on my first visit to Apex and I didn't have any problem at all. The only thing that I will sometimes do is offer the tip in advance because I don't like negotiating during the session, but there's a risk you'll over pay a normal massage with that approach, maybe wait until you can read the MP before you do that.
